When Is The View Returning For Season 29?
The View ladies made a lot of their fanbase mad when they went on an extended hiatus that is lasting all of August 2025. They had just gone away for the Fourth of July holiday, so this seemed way too soon. Many have come to depend on the show for comfort or simple background noise throughout the summer. Unfortunately, they left, and it made some viewers wonder if it was for good. Joy Behar cleared up that rumor and assured everyone they were not going anywhere just yet. As for the slew of reruns chosen for the break, not everyone loves those.
Now that it is early August, fans would like to know when the show will be returning to ABC. They can watch reruns daily or on YouTube, but it is not the same. As of now, the show is expected to be back in early September. It is unclear if this will happen the week of Labor Day, meaning they could come back on Tuesday, September 2nd. However, they could delay it a week and return Monday, September 8th, which would make more sense. It would still be a month’s wait, but worth it, nonetheless.
The only definite is that The View is coming back for Season 29, and it will be next month. Yet, there is also no confirmation that all of the hosts will return with the show. There has long been speculation that Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg are ready to retire. Whether that time is now seems unlikely, as they have very flexible schedules for their other endeavors.
