Carl Radke has taken his non-alcoholic bar idea seriously following his split from Lindsay Hubbard. What started as a dream for the Summer House star is now becoming a reality. Carl is working toward opening a sober bar in Brooklyn, now that he doesn’t have anyone telling him he can’t.
Carl’s first bar plans to serve a totally non-alcoholic menu while mimicking the social experience. It’s undoubtedly an exciting accomplishment to open a brick-and-mortar space, especially in a bustling New York City borough.

Recently, Carl spoke to Brooklyn Paper to tell fans when they can expect Soft Bar to open its doors. Sober Bar & Cafe will open in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint neighborhood by the start of the summer, which feels fitting for a Summer House star. “People still want the experience of going out, socializing, and having a beautifully crafted drink in their hand. It just doesn’t always have to have alcohol in it,” Carl said. “It feels like we’re creating something really special.”
Aside from the community gathering space, particularly for folks abstaining from alcohol, Carl plans to record his podcast in the loft space. “If you’re just grabbing a non-alcoholic drink, you might catch a recording in progress, adding to the energy of the space,” he said.
Additionally, for anyone looking to get really involved, Carl is offering investment opportunities into his non-alcoholic bar starting at $250. “We’re really excited to bring people into this journey with us,” he said. “The crowdfunding isn’t just about raising money; it’s about building a community from day one.
