Shows Are Already Being Listed As Being In Danger Of Cancellation As Pilot Season Looms
According to reports, NBC is currently considering which shows will be renewed and which will soon be cancelled. During this time, various outlets and insiders are weighing in on what certain shows’ expected fates will be. This also comes out amid pilot season, in which networks will pick which potential shows they will greenlight.
Recently, The TV Ratings Guide shared a list of NBC shows with various fates. Shows were ranked as “renewed” or “cancelled” in various states of “Leans,” “Certain,” “Likely,” and “Already.”
One series already listed as leaning towards cancellation was Stumble. This show, which made its debut in November 2025, revolves around a competitive cheerleading coach who is fired from her position after drinking with her squad. She soon gets a job at a junior college and puts a team together in order to win the championship. Various stars attached to the show included Jenn Lyon, Georgie Murphy, Taran Killam, and Kristin Chenoweth.
The series recently aired thirteen episodes, with its latest airing on March 13, 2026. However, the series has already developed a fanbase online.
A Few Stumble Fans Even Shared Tips On How To Save The Show Online
Recently, Stumble fans have taken to social media to try to save the show. Recently, on Reddit, one fan wrote, “We need a season 2!!! The time to act is now.” Detailing a campaign to save the show, they called on fans to write to Pearlena Igbokwe, the chairwoman of Universal Studio Group, a division of NBCUniversal.
The fan also suggested writing to Lisa Katz, the President of Scripted Content. They also advised using social media to draw attention to the show, adding, “Spread the word on all social media outlets!!! Instagram, threads, Discord, Roblox, [and] Facebook.”
