Icelandic composer and performer Hildur Guðnadóttir has shared the first taste of her score for Joker: Folie à Deux, the new Todd Phillips movie starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga. Listen to the new song “There Is No Joker” below.
Hildur scored Phillips’ first Joker movie, and her work earned her many accolades, including the 2020 Academy Award for Best Original Score and the 2021 Grammy Award for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media.
Hildur will release her new film score album, Joker: Folie à Deux (Score From the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), on September 27 via WaterTower Music.
Joker: Folie à Deux gets released widely on October 4. That same day, Interscope will share Joker: Folie à Deux (Music From the Motion Picture), a soundtrack album credited to Joaquin Phoenix, Lady Gaga, and the film’s cast.
