Season 13 of Holiday Baking Championship just started on Monday, November 2nd. Yet, one pivotal member of the judging panel was noticeably absent: Nancy Fuller. It was revealed that she would not be part of this season, and fans were livid. Fortunately, she appears to be booked and busy. Keep reading for more on what she is up to amid her absence.
Nancy Fuller Was An OG Judge On HBC
Since November 2014, Holiday Baking Championship has been a staple on Food Network. It has been a symbol that the holiday season is upon us, and viewers love the mix of judges. Duff Goldman and Nancy Fuller have been the two constants while the hosts and other judges have changed. After OG host Bobby Deen left, former Bachelor Jesse Palmer took over. As for the judges, Lorraine Pascale was there for the first six seasons and was then replaced by Carla Hall until Season 11. Kardea Brown has been her replacement.
Sadly, before Season 13 began, it was announced that Nancy Fuller was out and there was no reason given. She was so beloved, and without her on the panel, it just did not feel the same:
- No Nancy??? I will have to pass this year then 😢
- Release a statement on where our queen Nancy is!!! Or else!!! 🎄🍪
- Ugh I’m so disappointed that Nancy is not in this season
Nancy is a big part of the Holiday Baking Championship, and she helps to bring the holiday spirit. Fortunately, the seventy-seven-year-old is booked and busy back at her Hudson Valley, New York, home. In August, she shared a clip stating that it was running longer than she had expected but could not wait to show off the finished product:
- HI…. I’ve been renovating my kitchen!!!!! Can’t wait to share my adventure…. It was a tad longer than I anticipated. But worth the wait! Only another month to go
She also showed herself supporting her grandson at his football game and attempting to work out.
Fans Are Devastated Over Her Absence
Nancy Fuller has such a strong fanbase, and they immediately rushed to her social media. They wanted her to know that they did not know how or if they would watch Holiday Baking Championship without her:
- I am so sad you’re not hosting the holiday baking championship. I am not going to watch it now. 😭
- I just have to echo- “I miss you on HBC!!!!” Please come back-it’s iffy if I will watch this year-don’t know if I can take it.
- Why aren’t you on Holiday Baking Championship?! I love you and cannot stomach sprinkle queen Molly Yeh.
- Love you!! Boycotting Holiday Baking Championship bc it is not Christmas without you!! ❤️❤️❤️
