Jelly Roll is making huge career moves. Fans are going to be ecstatic for what comes next for their favorite country artist. He is teaming up with Shaboozey to headline the first-ever Strummingbird Festival in Australia. The festival will be in late October and early November on the Sunshine Coast, Newcastle, and Perth. The festival performances will be a first for both Jason and Shaboozey.
The ability to travel out of the US is a new thing for Jelly Roll. The country artist, a felony charge that he got at has prevented him from getting his passport up until now. However, once Jason DeFord was able to get his passport, he faced more roadblocks to being able to travel internationally. He shared that it has been difficult to travel internationally. The country star said,
“The trick is when America finally says, ‘We’ll let you leave,’ the amount of countries that won’t let you come in … We had to cancel my London debut show.”
Given his previous travel restrictions, it is a huge deal for Jason to be able to host the Strummingbird Festival in Australia with Shaboozey. Pre-sale for tickets to the festival begins on August 7, and general ticket sales start on August 8.
Country Super Star Jelly Roll Set To Perform Internationally
Jelly Roll has the amazing opportunity to travel internationally now and host concerts like the Strumminbird Festival in Australia. His wife, Bunnie XO, hinted at the upcoming performances on her podcast Dumb Blonde. During the June 30th episode, she said, “J is going to Australia for four weeks,” shortly after his European tour dates wrap. The country artist is taking every advantage of his newfound freedom, as every one of his remaining 2025 shows is overseas. 
International fans now have a chance to enjoy their favorite country artist live. Jelly Roll is set to travel with Post Malone on a European tour. Shows are set to take place in Germany, Italy, France, England, the Netherlands, Spain, and Portugal. Jason DeFord will also put on shows in Canada and Switzerland before the Strummingbird Festival in Australia. Fans have shared their enthusiasm for the country artist’s new adventures. They said:
