Days after performing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Super Bowl LIX, Jon Batiste has announced a new run of intimate tour dates for this spring.
Dubbed the “Maestro Tour,” the shows will see Batiste perform at a number of renown theaters nationwide, starting with the Citizens Opera House in Boston on April 5th. From there, he’ll perform at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York, the Fox Theater in Atlanta, and the Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, before wrapping on May 19th at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.

Tickets for the shows will first become available through an artist pre-sale and local pre-sales, followed by a Live Nation pre-sale for select dates opening on Thursday, February 13th at 10:00 a.m. local time (use access code DUET). The general on-sale will then open via Ticketmaster or on the venues’ websites on Friday, February 14th at 10:00 a.m. local time.
In a new statement, Batiste described the upcoming tour dates as an “opportunity” for fans to hear his art in a live, spontaneous environment. “I love the storytelling aspect of these shows as well,” he said. “It’s not often that I do such intimate and stripped-down performances like this where you can hear and feel every wave of energy as it shifts. I’m excited to share this journey with fans in such an intimate setting, where every performance will be a one-of-a-kind experience—spontaneous, immersive, and deeply personal.”
The announcement of the “Maestro Tour” comes after a big week for Batiste, which not only included his Super Bowl performance, but two wins at the 2025 Grammys as well — one for Best Music Film with the Netflix documentary American Symphony, and another for Best Song Written for Visual Media with “It Never Went Away” from the film.
Batiste also released a new two-song project this week titled MY UNITED STATE, which features a song inspired by his rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” titled “STAR-SPANGLED BATISTE BLUES,” along with a new song, “NOTES FROM MY FUTURE SELF.” Stream the project below.
