Kelly Clarkson sees her inner circle supporting her after Brooklyn store feud, per source
Kelly Clarkson has reportedly stood by her position after a heated dispute with Art of Play, a boutique in Brooklyn, over a mechanical bird named Molly. The Grammy-winning singer reportedly tried to buy the bird, which cost $15,000, but the store said it was not for sale. Clarkson’s account of the incident sparked criticism and debate over how the dispute unfolded.
Despite the backlash, a source told Naughty But Nice that Clarkson does not believe she did anything wrong and has encountered little resistance from those closest to her. “Kelly is perfectly happy.
She doesn’t think she did anything wrong, and nobody around her is telling her otherwise,” the source claimed. “She’s living in a bubble of applause.” The report does not include a direct response from Clarkson addressing the latest claims about her reaction to the controversy.
Clarkson has reportedly received support from several well-known figures in the entertainment industry, including Reba McEntire, Jennifer Hudson, Blake Shelton and Pink. McEntire appeared to sympathize with Clarkson, writing, “Oh Kelly, their loss honey.”
Hudson also shared a message that read, “Never judge a book by its cover.” Shelton and Pink also weighed in, with Shelton defending Clarkson and Pink questioning why people continued to behave rudely.
According to the insider, these supportive responses have led Clarkson to feel she has little reason to apologize. “Kelly sees Reba, Jennifer, Blake and Pink defending her. Her fans are overwhelmingly supportive,” the source said. “Why would she apologize when everyone she trusts is cheering her on?”
