As it turns out, she has nothing to do with the brand other than sharing a name. Huda Beauty was founded in 2013, when Huda Mustafa would have been 12. It was also founded by Huda Kattan and her sisters, Mona and Alya Kattan, not the Love Island USA star. Huda Mustafa is actually a fitness coach, plus she has shown off her singing chops on TikTok.
Understandable Confusion
It is very understandable that many would hear the name “Huda” and think that it has to do with the beauty brand. Huda Beauty has nearly 60 million social media followers, and Cosmetify named it the most popular neauty brand in early 2025. After seeing Huda Mustafa walking into Love Island USA, and maybe not knowing the origin of HB, it makes sense that some would question if they were one and the same.
