Margaret Josephs’ Most Villainous Moments on RHONJ

Only a few top-notch Real Housewives of New Jersey stars make it to the top of the podium when it comes to evil moments. But Margaret Josephs has natural villain energy. And unlike some of her costars, I actually appreciate Marge’s trail of poisonous apples she leaves behind. She doesn’t always come across as malicious but more entertaining, and the blonde in pigtails gives classic Housewives villain energy. Marge was the rare breed that didn’t need to be taught how to be witty or use her sharp tongue to defend herself. Everything she did just came naturally. Here are some of the best villain moments from our beloved Margaret.

Margaret Josephs coins the name “Soggy Flicker”

It was only for a split second that Siggy Flicker and Margaret got along. The friendship was never meant to be, especially after Siggy developed an affinity for certain political preferences, so there didn’t seem to be any love lost between the two. During her time on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Siggy was known to cry a lot. She would cry if she were too happy or sad. And while she blamed it on her hormones, it just felt like the tears were a manipulation technique.

So when Marge made a joke about her name by calling her “Soggy,” it just seemed like innocent prodding. However, the love therapist was not thrilled and revealed to The Macbeth Collection owner her true feelings. Marge did apologize, saying, “My intention was never ever to make you cry. My intention is to f*cking be funny. I’m very sorry that I hurt you. And that is a true apology. I don’t want to ever take a girl down.” She’s a villain with a heart.

Margaret Josephs compares Jennifer Aydin’s lips to a monkey’s backside

Jennifer Aydin’s lips have been ruined for fans. And while she has had a few questionable cosmetic procedures done, I never would have equated Jen’s lips and a monkey’s butt before Marge pointed it out.

During the girls’ trip to Cabo, the ladies gifted Teresa a beautiful necklace. But Jen’s snarky comment about not using her brother’s shop didn’t sit well with Marge, who pointed out that the group had asked Jen for advice before the purchase.

Jennifer then displayed some pretty bad manners as she told the OG, “You know what? It’s f*cking ugly. Sorry, Teresa.”  At the time, Dolores Catania noted, “I like Jen, but she’s acting a little crazy … I think the tequila has given her amentia.” But Marge was pissed and screamed that Jen’s lip liner looked like “a monkey’s asshole!”

Margaret Josephs exposed Bill Aydin’s affair

For years, Jennifer looked down on Margaret, but fans were shocked to learn that Bill Aydin was none other than a cheater and pumpkin eater. While at a group party, Marge decided she needed to give Jen a taste of her own medicine. The Paramus native was forced to reveal that Bill did sleep with another woman 10 years ago, but the couple had moved on.

Margaret and Jennifer’s relationship has never been the same since this moment. While they’ve tried to move on, it’s just never happened. Jen blames Marge for her children finding out about the affair. While that’s likely true, because the reveal was broadcast to the entire world, the blame still lies with Bill. He’s the one who skipped out on his wife. And judging by some of his behavior on screen, he has a lot of making up to do.

Margaret Josephs sent Teresa Giudice funeral flowers

Marge is a little evil genius. When she plots, she thinks long and hard about how to best approach the situation to maximize effect. So when Teresa revealed she would have her lawyer James Leonard pop by for a legal conversation regarding her, the blonde in pigtails wasn’t having it.

In the penultimate episode of Season 14, while pretty much everyone except Marge was sitting around what looked to be a Sopranos round table, Tre was delivered a lovely bunch of funeral flowers. The card read, “With deepest sympathy, Sorry for the loss of your dignity. Love, love, love, Margaret.”

Margaret Josephs drops a bomb on Jackie “Judas” Goldschneider

First, Margaret sent the screenshot text of Jackie Goldschneider talking smack about Dolores. But she stepped up her villain game when she revealed that Jackie had met with one of Luis Ruelas’ exes in front of everyone.

By Jackie’s face, it looked like she thought this bit of juicy information wouldn’t see the light of day. The lawyer even tried to explain her way out of it, saying, “Teresa and Jennifer were calling people, trying to get information on my husband, trying to get pictures of women, and here comes this woman saying, ‘Hey, I got something for you to put in your pocket.”

As Jackie basically begged Tre not to freak out, Marge let fly possibly the greatest statement of the season. She looked directly into Teresa’s eyes and told her, “You subpoenaed the wrong b*tch.” Mic drop.

Real Housewives of New Jersey can be streamed on Bravo.
