Roadside Attractions and Saban Films have released the official red band trailer for CRAWLERS, which opens in theaters on October 16, 2026.
The red band designation is worth noting before you hit play. This is the version cut for adult audiences, so it is not the one to throw on speaker at your desk.
A Building on Lockdown

The premise is contained and easy to follow. A catastrophic infestation of venomous and deadly spiders overruns an apartment building, and a police-mandated quarantine seals the residents inside.
Nobody gets out. The spiders keep multiplying.
Matilda Lutz plays Serena, the building’s manager. Her knowledge of the place is the closest thing the residents have to an advantage, though the official synopsis makes it clear that she has her own fear to work through before she can be much use to anyone else.
That is a familiar shape for a horror setup, and it is a durable one. Lock the doors, take away the exits, and let the threat scale up while the survivors figure out what they actually know about the space they live in.
Who Made It

Ángel Gómez Hernández directs. Jayson Rothwell wrote the script and also produces.
The full producing team is Scott Strauss, Peter Welter, Jayson Rothwell, Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Josh Weinstock, and Alexandra Milchan. Andrew Schwartzberg, Jon Shiffman, and Diarmaid McGrath serve as executive producers.
Roadside Attractions and Saban Films are handling the theatrical release, which puts CRAWLERS in the middle of October, right in the heaviest stretch of the horror calendar.
In Theaters This October

There is not much more on the table yet beyond the trailer and the date, and we would rather point you to the footage than talk around it. Watch the red band cut above and decide for yourself whether the quarantine premise earns its runtime.
