Steven Jr. has been “worked up” over the situation playing out with Calah, and even Steven’s mom, Kristi, agreed that the relationship they had was “toxic.” He has said in scenes that he is still “stuck” on her, and there has been a lot of drama surrounding this situation as new episodes air.

Even though Calah Jackson and Steven McBee Jr. have been broken up, he recently spilled the tea on who pays the bills. According to Steven Jr., he said in a recent interview that he wishes Calah would show a little more respect, considering the fact that there’s an “ACH” that hits both his and his mom’s account on her behalf, “every month still.”
According to Steven, Calah is still getting her 15-month lease and her car covered. So, in this aspect, he does feel some type of way about her publicly throwing shade at the family while also still benefiting from their hard work. If what Steven says is true about his family still paying Calah’s bills despite being split up, many fans of the show agree that this isn’t a good look for her.
