For those of us holding out hope that there would be a reconciliation between Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards, it’s starting to seem less and less likely. He was just spotted canoodling with another woman, and it sent the world into a flurry. When the news reached New Jersey, Melissa Gorga took to her podcast to weigh in.
On the podcast, Melissa said she felt empathy for Kyle as all of this played out in the headlines. From one Housewife to another, Melissa knows this can’t be easy.
Melissa can’t wrap her head around this
Mauricio and his new friend, actress Nikita Kahn, spent time together in Greece this weekend. Paparazzi snapped pictures of them at an airport, and Melissa gave a play-by-play during the latest episode of her podcast, On Display.
“Did you see this on Instagram today yet? Oh my God. I saw Mauricio kissing a new girl,” Melissa told her husband, Joe Gorga.
Obviously, it’s not like Mauricio is doing something wrong. He and Kyle have been separated for over a year. Still, Melissa told her husband how it felt weird to see him with another woman.
“Just to see another woman embrace one of my friend’s husbands that, you know, Joe, we’ve been to dinner with them many times,” Melissa explained. “We’ve — it was a little sad.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star went on to explain how her marriage to Joe reminded her a lot of Kyle and Mauricio. They’ve been together for decades, they have families, and Melissa described a sense of bewilderment about how quickly they moved on from each other.
“They break up. And then you miraculously see them kissing other people in airports, and it’s like, ‘Wow.’ Like, you just can’t believe it,” Melissa continued.
Meanwhile, it’s not clear if Mauricio and Kyle are ever going to move forward with a divorce. He moved out of the family home, but they’re been quiet on whether or not they’re going to officially terminate the marriage. If they do end up divorcing, we can bet Melissa will be talking about it on her podcast.
