Only Murders in the Building S4 E8 Ending Explained: How Did Dudenoff Die?

What happens at the end of Only Murders in the Building Season 4 Episode 8?

The ending of Only Murders in the Building Season 4 Episode 8 reveals that the Westies who were believed to have murdered Milton Dudenoff are not murderers. They simply complied with Dudenoff’s instructions to dispose of his body in the incinerator after his suicide and keep it a secret from Helga.

Mabel promises the Westies that their role in incinerating Dudendoff’s dead body will not be exposed to the authorities. Later, Helga visits Mabel, Charles, and Oliver, telling them she knew Sazz, who used to converse with her and the Westies through the ham radio, regarding plot holes in the Only Murders in the Building podcast.

Helga adds that Sazz told of them of a stuntman in Project Ronkonkoma, who had been her protege but he kept troubling her. The said stuntman is revealed to be none other than Glen Stubbins, who was a stunt double for Ben Glenroy.

How did Dudenoff die in OMITB?

Milton Dudenoff died by suicide, after taking a lethal mix of pills.

Dudenoff killed himself as he wished to protect the Westies from losing their homes and getting separated from one another. Before dying, he had requested the Westies to act as if he had still been alive, cash his checks, and tell inquirers that he relocated to Portugal.

Who is the new suspect in Sazz’s murder case in OMITB?

The new suspect in Sazz’s murder case is Glen Stubbins.

However, Glen Stubbins is currently hospitalized after getting shot at a photoshoot where he served as a stand-in for Oliver.

Only Murders in the Building is currently streaming on Hulu.
