Most Bravo fans were surprised when Summer House star Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover from Southern Charm split up. The long-distance couple had dated for three years. While Paige was happily based in New York, Craig lived in Charleston. Neither party was enthusiastic about relocating. However, during the Season 10 filming of Southern Charm, the duo was very much together. And Paige was doling out career advice to her boyfriend.

Meanwhile, fans are still wondering what caused the duo to call off. It is especially odd because, in early December, Craig spoke out about marrying Paige. “I had made a decision months before the season started to become more of a husband and father material than just the fun boyfriend,” Craig explained. “I could see it in Paige’s eyes that she saw the person I could be.”
However, Craig’s decision to stop drinking nearly traumatized Austen. Plus, the tension between the two friends was a focal point of Season 10 of Southern Charm. Enter Paige!
During a recent scene in Southern Charm, Paige attempted to help Craig end his podcast with Austen. “Pillows and Beer is your side hustle,” Paige said of Craig and Austen’s podcast. “The whole point of the podcast is to, like, put out good vibes and laugh and talk with your friend in a very real way. And if you guys can’t even do that, then why is the podcast even a question?” She added, “I think you two need to sit down and legit dissolve the whole thing.” Paige is not wrong.
She continued, “Like, why would you not have a podcast like ‘Craig and Friends’? You rebrand. You have your own new name,” Paige explained. “It’s a whole new vibe. It’s not ‘Pillows and Beer.’”
Plus, Paige believed in Craig. “It’s just a clean slate. It’s like new energy,” she said. “What are you holding on to? You have to sit and think, like, what you want.”
Craig talked to Austen about ending their podcast
Eventually, Craig did talk to Austen about ending the podcast during Season 10 of Southern Charm. Craig stated that their “chemistry” was gone, and it was time to end the podcast. However, when Craig asked Austen for a figure to sign off his podcast rights, Austen was angry.
Somehow, Austen and Craig were able to open their bar, called By the Way in December. Let’s hope that these friends work out their issues.
