Pat McAfee announces that Travis Kelce has got the “greatest wood.” In a clip shared by user @tayvishazetoo on X (formerly Twitter), Pat McAfee made the statement to a panel of sports analysts. McAfee remarked, “I would like to reiterate something. Hey, you have got really good wood too. But the greatest wood comes from New Heights and Cincinnati legend Travis Kelce.”
Taylor Swift has been speculated to be singing about Kelce’s manhood in her song titled “Wood” from her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. The lyrics are, “New Heights (New Heights) of manhood (Manhood)/I ain’t gotta knock on wood.” The lines appear to be a tribute to Kelce’s podcast as well as his manhood.
Notably, McAfee also paid tribute to the Chiefs’ tight end’s podcast as well as his “wood.” Unsurprisingly, fans are loving McAfee’s appreciation for Kelce’s “wood” and have shared their humorous reactions. One Swiftie commented, “Preach it, Pat,” followed by multiple emoticons.
A second Swiftie couldn’t stop laughing and wrote, “This is so funny! But I’m so curious why were they discussing wood in the first place? How did the sentence ‘you have really good wood too’ even happen? I can’t imagine the context.” A third fan simply commented, “The biggest Tayvis stan, fr.” Another fan chimed in, “Oh Pat, never change. We love him.”
It seems like Pat McAfee has long been a fan of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship. When McAfee appeared on the Kelce brothers’ podcast New Heights on October 16 last year, he heaped praise on the couple and said he believes professional football is getting more publicity because of their relationship.
