What Liam Neeson movie is now available on Prime Video today?
Beginning today, Neeson’s The Naked Gun movie is now officially available for streaming on Prime Video. It serves as a reboot sequel to Leslie Nielsen’s original Police Squad franchise. “Police Squad is the elite of the elite. And if anyone can save the world… so can Frank Drebin Jr. Beloved action hero Liam Neeson takes on bad guys like you’ve never seen him before in the outrageously hilarious film. It delivers a high velocity barrage of side-splitting gags, relentless absurdity, and glorious silliness that will leave you breathless with laughter,” reads the synopsis.
The Naked Gun was directed and executive produced by Akiva Schaffer of The Lonely Island comedy group, who has been attached to helm the reboot since 2022. The cast also included Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, and Danny Huston. Schaffer also co-wrote the screenplay with Dan Gregor and Doug Mand. It was also produced by Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins for Fuzzy Door, with Daniel M. Stillman, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, and Andrew Lary executive producing.
