As of early October 2023, Quantum Leap has not been renewed for Season 3. Although the critical response to the series has been average at best, Season 1 garnered good viewership ratings. If that is replicated after Season 2’s release, there is a legitimate chance for the series to be renewed for Season 3. NBC renewed Quantum Leap for Season 2 in December 2022, while the first season was airing. The same thing can happen with Season 3, but the ongoing actors’ strike might prove detrimental to that.
