Radiohead have confirmed a 21-date run of shows in Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney, Australia, and Saitama, Japan, taking place in 2027.
The Australian leg kicks off with four nights at RAC Arena in Perth beginning May 3rd. The band will then play six shows each at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne and Afterpay Arena in Sydney. In June, they’ll play five gigs at GMO in Arena Saitama. These dates mark Radiohead’s first visit to Australia since 2012 and their first headline shows in Japan since 2008.
For tickets, fans must register through Radiohead’s official ticket registration page from September 7th-10th for a chance to receive an unlock code, with the Australian ticket on-sale set for September 15th. Tickets range from $139-$349 AUD for seated seats and $199 AUD for standing. Japanese tickets will be handled separately through eplus, with applications opening September 7th; standing tickets are ¥26,000 and seated tickets range from ¥15,000-¥30,000 Prices will remain fixed, and fans who miss out on the initial sales will be placed on waitlists for any additional ticket releases.

Additionally, Radiohead are offering “Fast Track Status” tickets for their upcoming tour dates in Australia and Japan, which, as they note in their own words, “does not include fast track status, or in fact any kind of status at all. What were you expecting when you signed up for ‘Fast Track Status’ with Radiohead? Of course it doesn’t include fast track status.”
Instead, the status will provide eligible fans with “one of the most ergonomic and luxuriously appointed seats that the venue has to offer, as well as a complimentary receptacle of Very Exclusive Items designed by Stanley Donwood & Doktor Tchock, with their customary attention to irrelevance.” The band adds, “We hope that you choke enjoy the show.
After returning to the stage for the first time in seven years for a tour of the UK and Europe in late 2025, guitarist Ed O’Brien said Radiohead were looking to play 20 shows each year, focusing on a different continent each time.
To that point, a message on Radiohead’s website accompanying today’s news notes: “There will be no extra dates announced. These are the only shows that Radiohead will be playing in 2027. The band hope to do more shows elsewhere in the future.” Summer Sonic, the annual music festival held in Tokyo, had previously teased a Radiohead appearance for 2027, though today’s announcement suggests that may no longer be the case.
