RHOBH’s Erika Jayne Reveals Frosty Cast Member Drama

RHOBH’s Erika Jayne Reveals Frosty Cast Member Drama

Can’t the women of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills just get along? Just when Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley have finally settled their feud, more drama is being stirred up by a new cast member.

Following the sudden exit of Garcelle Beauvais at the end of Season 14, two new cast members joined the group. Bravo Alum Rachel Zoe and newbie Amanda Frances are bringing much-needed fresh blood to the show.

But as sometimes happens when a new person comes in, some of the longtime cast members are finding themselves at odds. Currently, Erika Jayne warns viewers that one newbie in particular is beginning to “piss everyone off.”

“People like to see new energy,” Erika told Pride. “They like to see different reactions. We’re a tight-knit group of people, so of course, new blood is going to shake things up.”

As interviewer Ricky Cornish said, “[Amanda]’s not afraid to share her opinions when it comes to anybody in this group of women.”

“That can be a problem,” Erika agrees. “If you piss everyone off, then what? Everybody reacts differently and sometimes you need a break. But what you do need to have is a point of view, and you need to be able to express that.”

Though most people would attempt to gently ease themselves into a new group, the self-proclaimed “Money Queen” came in hot. When someone walks in like they own the place, the OGs might interpret that as aggression. Guards immediately go up, and rather than openly welcoming the newbie, many would take a step back to assess. In that case, the veteran Housewives might feel disrespected.

“My advice to anyone coming on [RHOBH] would be to have a point of view and don’t be afraid to speak your mind,” Erika offered. “[And] don’t look for backup, because it’s not coming.”

Could Amanda follow in Annemarie Wiley’s footsteps and be a one-and-done cast member? Time will tell.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
