RHOC: Gretchen Rossi’s Alleged Anti-LGBTQ Post Likes Explained

Season 19 of The Real Housewives of Orange County was certainly eventful for Gretchen Rossi. She returned to our screens after a lengthy hiatus, but never really left the drama with Tamra Judge. The duo bickered and argued all season, finally seeming to make amends in Amsterdam. Sort of.

However, before the trip, Tamra showed their RHOC co-star, Gina Kirschenheiter, disgusting transphobic and homophobic social media posts that Gretchen allegedly “liked.” Well, Gina needed answers, and she confronted Gretchen during RHOC Season 19 Episode 17. The resulting chaos was not pretty, and it wasn’t a good look for Gretchen.

Gretchen Rossi denies liking the homophobic and transphobic social media posts

A blogger shared screenshots of the vile social media posts that Gretchen reportedly “liked.” One post that Gretchen seemingly “liked” read, “When you opened the door to homosexuality, you opened the door to pedophilia. You’ll never win in normalizing perversion.”

And another post read, “Biden wants to ‘protect kids’ by ensuring they’re castrated.” After Gina asked Gretchen about the posts, she had the strangest reaction. She wasn’t angry; just calm and quiet.

“If I liked something, then I probably didn’t know it was about that,” Gretchen told the group. “I don’t have any issue with the LGBTQ community.” And in her confessional, Gretchen explained, “All I know is I’m seeing a screenshot of something I supposedly liked that I’ve never seen in my life.” Meanwhile, Gretchen’s longtime friend Heather Dubrow, whose children are part of the LGBTQ+ community, was furious.

Later, Gretchen claimed that her “likes” were faked. “This is false, those are manipulated screenshots meant to cause harm to my reputation and bring attention to themselves,” Gretchen previously stated. She added that she has “always fully supported the LGBTQ+ community.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. Stream it the next day on Peacock or Hayu in the UK and Ireland.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK THAT GRETCHEN “LIKED” THE POSTS? SHOULD SHE RETURN FOR RHOC SEASON 20?
