Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 went out with a whimper. Granted, the cast finale rewatch has yet to air. But given the reported reaction to the finale, it’s unlikely that the reunion replacement will hold much water.
With Season 14’s consistently poor performance, not to mention the turbulence on set, many fans expect a full reboot for RHONJ. However, according to one inside source, not even Bravo is sure what to do with the franchise.
According to an alleged inside source, Bravo reportedly has no timeline for filming Season 15. The source supposed that filming could resume in 2025. Moreover, the network is open to anything – a cast shakeup or a full reboot. See everything to know about RHONJ below.
No one on the RHONJ cast has been fired (yet)
“There are not going to be any decisions about what will or won’t happen with the show until early next year,” an insider told The Daily Mail. “There is not going to be any more filming of RHONJ for the remainder of the year. There’s nothing planned. It’s on ice.”
“Everybody is waiting to find out what’s going to happen,” the source added, suggesting no one at Bravo had a plan. They further confirmed that no one on the current cast had been fired, despite rumors. “The cast for the new season is not going to be decided anytime soon. Casting is not something Bravo is rushing into. It’s not even going to start to take form until next year.”
The source continued, “However, there are some cast members that are less likely to come back than others based on certain events that have unfolded this past season. But, for two or three cast members, it could be over for good.”
“Bravo is actively seeking new housewives, not just in NJ, but for the other franchises as well. They’re always looking for new talent to bring in higher ratings.” The source also speculated that Bravo simply doesn’t “know what to do” with New Jersey. “There’s very few pieces of the puzzle that make sense for viewers right now.”
