Olivia Rodrigo launched “The Unraveled Tour” at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, Connecticut, on Friday night, performing tracks from her new album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love among other songs from across her discography.
The show was reportedly structured around the four seasons, with each chapter — Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Rodrigo opened the show surrounded by flowers, with the backdrop shifting to match each season. At times, she performed on electric guitar and piano, while also venturing out to the barricade to interact with fans. During another part in the show, her dress literally melted away in the rain.

The set began with performances of “drop dead” and “u + me = <3” from her new album, followed by “so american” and “good 4 u.” The Spring section closed with “deja vu,” which she would later return to at the end of the night. Summer paired new tracks “my way” and “serena joy” with GUTS singles “bad idea right?” and “ballad of a homeschooled girl.”

The Summer Twilight section brought renditions of “vampire” and “purple,” while the Autumn section saw Rodrigo perform “stupid song” plus “maggots for brains,” “traitor,” “begged,” and “cigarette smoke.”
Winter featured “honeybee,” the SOUR tracks “favorite crime” and “drivers license,” “less,” and “the cure,” the song whose lyric gave the tour its name. For the closing return to Spring, Rodrigo played “deja vu” and “all-american bitch” before ending on “expectations.”
Rodrigo will follow her opening show with another performance at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford on Saturday, September 26th. After that, she’ll perform multi-night stops in cities like Pittsburgh, Chicago, Boston, Toronto, Philadelphia, Nashville, Los Angeles, and Brooklyn before heading overseas in the spring. Rodrigo unveiled her third album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, back in June. Since then, she launched her own wildly successful Daisy Chain Fields festival, she revealed the one-off charity single “serena joy,” and even got her own flavor of Baja Blast at Taco Bell. Rodrigo was also recently announced to play the Los Angeles edition of iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball on December 4th.
