Spencer Pratt Defends ‘Innocent Bystander’ Heidi Montag After His Villainous Reality TV Career

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag were in the headlines again after they tragically lost their home to the fires in the California. The reality TV duo and their two sons had to evacuate quickly. Sadly, nothing remained of their home in the Palisades.

The couple got a lot of sympathy due to the shocking circumstances. Heidi’s music topped the charts after fans viewed the relevant TikTok videos to support the family. Overcome with emotion, the couple reacted to their new normal and thanked the public for their support. And Spencer reflected on his reality TV career.

Notably, the ever-present stigma of being the villain to Lauren Conrad on The Hills.

Spencer Pratt feels that wife Heidi Montag was robbed of a career that “she deserved”

Spencer appeared on SiriusXM Hits 1 LA with Tony Fly and Symon. He discussed how his stigma affected Heidi both personally and professionally.

Co-host Symon suggested that the public has “really seen your authenticity” finally, and that the couple “deserves these fans.” She also commended Spencer on being a supportive husband.

“You know, you guys do need to be loved and I’m just, I’m really happy for that part for you guys that you’re finally being seen. And I really appreciate how you’re such a super fan of your wife. I mean, I went on your Instagram and it’s like husband of a pop star. Like that’s amazing. Like you always have loved Heidi so, so much. And I commend you for your relationship,” she continued.

“It’s just been so hard all these years because Heidi is just like so amazing and the media just always, you know, I went after it to try to get bigger checks and be the villain and, you know, she was the innocent bystander and it’s, that’s the problem when you’re like Speidi. And now she’s the villain too,” Spencer explained.

Indeed, the Pratt Daddy Crystals founder certainly seemed to play into the role. And Heidi was the casualty, by proxy of their relationship. Perhaps they didn’t realize how much the persona would stick after all these years as the mother-of-two tried her hand at a music career.

Spencer continued, “It’s like she never did anything, like, she didn’t even pretend to do, say anything. So it’s just been so horrible watching her not be able to have the success she deserved and is warranted since I met her, just because of producers, editors, you know, just the take down machine. So this has just been the best feeling in the worst time of my life, which is just, the weirdest juxtaposition or whatever.”

TELL US – DO YOU THINK SPENCER IS TO BLAME FOR HEIDI’S LACK OF SUCCESS? DO YOU HAVE ANY REACTION TO HIS COMMENTS?
