Summer House Season 9, Episode 7 Recap

Welcome to the recap for Summer House Season 9, Episode 7. Last week, Carl tried to get his groove back when he invited Lil to his shipwrecked party. Meanwhile, it looked like the ship had sailed regarding Craig and Paige’s relationship. On top of that, Craig still had beef with Kyle that needed to be squashed. Jesse wanted to make amends between Ciara and West but ended up flirting with her instead. Lexi was going to be beyond thrilled. Here’s exactly what went down in Summer House Season 9, Episode 7: “Toeing the Line.”

Kyle and Craig were able to hash out their differences and become bros once again. But things were not good with Paige and Craig. She was worried her man was drinking haterade and wouldn’t support her success. Jesse made it known loud and clear he wasn’t ready to commit to Lexi. He continued to flirt with Ciara and told her he already went through shooting his shot with her last summer. To make matters worse, he may or may not have participated in a foursome. Jesse was going to have quite the mess to clean up with Lexi next week.

Every little thing she does is magic

We picked up where we left off between Paige and Craig, agreeing to disagree about their relationship. Paige said, “Craig saying that he doesn’t feel valued and he’s worried about how the tour is going to affect our relationship … I’m not going away to war.” Then along came Kyle to end the war between him and Craig. But Craig continued his power play and made Kyle wait until he was ready to talk.

Carl and Lil chatted it up, with Lil doing most of the chatting … about magic? She then whipped out her card deck as a dove flew out of her purse. Carl dug it. He said, “After my last relationship, one of the most important things is that my partner believes in me and my ideas.” Cut to Lindsay telling Carl he’s not crushing at life. She probably didn’t approve of his sandwiches either. However, Lil was all for his soft bar, so Carl invited her to his upcoming event.

Jesse tried to make things right with Ciara and West, but she wasn’t having it. She said, “We are coexisting at this point; that’s fine. But like if we’re not gonna act like he didn’t just use me the entire summer last year, like, I’m sorry, but you guys are f*cking nuts.” Then things went left.

Jesse admitted he was interested in her but didn’t go for it because West had “called dibs.” Ciara said, “Jesse Solomon, don’t let whoever stop you from finding your wife, okay?” Jesse asked, “So you’re saying don’t let Lexi stop me from you?” Their love triangle had officially begun.

After Craig got a drink, checked his emails, and took photos with fans, he finally waltzed up to Kyle to talk. Jesse observed to Ciara, “Craig also continues to big dick him like all over the place. He just made him wait in the f*cking raft by himself while he’s like, ‘I need to go get a drink.’”

Things didn’t go well at first. Kyle felt his business was being talked about negatively, which in turn made him feel attacked. And he didn’t feel Craig gave him a fair shot before signing with a competitor. Craig said, “But you’re keeping money out of people’s pockets.” Kyle didn’t want to apologize but then changed his tune. He said he was sorry for calling Craig a liar and letting his emotions get the best of him. Then the two hugged it out, and all was good for now.

Craig then spilled the tea to Amanda that Jesse had asked him for advice on when to stop looking at girls. Jesse had eloquently asked him, “How did you graduate to f*cking being ok with all these hot chicks walking around?” Amanda observed that Jesse was a flip-flopper and would be all over Lexi if she were here.

Jesse then joined them and admitted at some point he would need to commit to Lexi. Then he shared he had a “heartwarming” conversation with Ciara. Amanda said, “I feel like sometimes you guys are going to date.” That’s when Jesse dropped a bomb. He shared, “I asked her what could have been if I showed up on time a year ago.” Amanda went for it and straight up asked him if he would date Ciara. Jesse said, “I’m a heterosexual male, like, yes.” Things were about to get very complicated.

Paige worried that Craig was a secret hater

Amanda and Craig continued their case for a Ciara and Jesse hookup. She said she asked Ciara about dating Jesse, but Ciara had told her she’s not a “homie hopper.” Craig noted, “They both have reasons that are bullsh*t for not being together.” Amanda agreed. She said, “I want them to just hook up so badly.” Lexi was going to be pissed.

We then got a quick scene of Lindsay saging her apartment to ward off any leftover bad energy from Carl. Much cheaper than moving. Lindsay admitted she didn’t have FOMO regarding the party, which coincidentally was her idea. She said, “Carl’s the most non-creative guy I’ve ever met. He stole all of my ideas and thoughts when we were together, so of course he’s still doing that.” Sounds like they won’t be keeping the peace for long.

Back at the house, West asked Jesse about his conversation with Ciara. Little did he know the conversation was really about what could have been between them instead. Jesse relayed that Ciara didn’t think she could go back to being friends. West said, “Saying that I used her kind of invalidates everything. And paints it as like I didn’t ever care about her.” Jesse then tested the waters and asked how he would feel if Ciara was dating. West said, “I would be relieved and happy.” But would he be happy if it were with Jesse?

Paige lamented to Ciara about her conversations with Craig. This led her to wonder, “Am I dating a secret hater?” Which sounded like a topic for a daytime talk show. Ciara said she’s talked multiple times with Paige, and it always ends up turning into “The Craig Show.” And it seemed there could only be one show headlining that relationship.

Amanda went to go check on West. She thought he was mad about Jesse and Ciara, but he had no clue. However, he was upset at Ciara. West said, “Stop telling my f*cking friends that I used you … it didn’t f*cking work. That f*cking happens.” Well, his nice-guy image was now officially in the toilet.

We then got a brief confessional with Lexi, who couldn’t have been more thrilled that Jesse called her “fifty times a day.” Which made her confident in their relationship. Oh, boy. Jesse told her he hoped what happened to West and Ciara wouldn’t happen to them. But he already started down that path. And he was about to make it even worse.

The guys went out, and this time Imrul brought home two girls. Jesse actually went into Imrul’s room to see what was up. An ominous “37 minutes later” popped up on the screen over what looked to be an image of underwear and several condoms on the floor. Then Jesse left. Did a foursome just go down?

According to Jesse, the only thing that happened was a girl sucked his toes. The producer asked why he took his socks off, and he didn’t recall wearing them. He added, “I’ve never had my toes sucked for the record.” So, that should totally make things ok with Lexi.

Jesse relayed the story to Amanda and Gabby at the pool. He told them he thought, “Lexi was better than foursomes.” Then Imrul wandered out. Was he going to spill the real tea?

Summer House continues Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
