The Valley Season 3 Episode 7 Recap: Dark-Side Danny Returns

Welcome to The Valley Season 3 Episode 7 recap. Last time, Michelle and Lala shared an emotional moment, bonding over having lost a parent. And Schwartz introduced his new lady, Kiana Carroll, to his friends. Here’s what happened in The Valley Season 3 Episode 7: “Triggers and Tiaras.”

As the San Diego cast trip continued, one cast member triggered Lala. Meanwhile, Lacy brought up a shocking incident from Michelle and Jesse’s past. And a conversation between Lacy and Janet went left.

While Lacy hoped to land in a better place with Michelle, she didn’t have positive feelings towards Janet. “But Janet, specifically, I just don’t vibe with her,” Lacy said in her confessional. “She just does things that are so sneaky, mean. It’s truly, like, diabolical.”

Meanwhile, Kristen wasn’t feeling well at dinner and wanted to head back to the house. “If you feel like sh*t, you feel like sh*t,” Luke told his fiancée. He mentioned that she recently gave birth and was still post-partum. “Are you saying that because you have a microphone on?” Kristen asked.

“No,” he replied. “Why would I just say that?” Meanwhile, Luke admitted in his confessional that his relationship with Kristen “is not in the ideal place.” While he noted this could be “normal for new parents,” Luke added, “Part of me … believes this is insanity.”

As the rest of the group headed home, Jesse asked Jason and Janet to stay behind for a quick talk. What could go wrong? “The thing is, I don’t personally like this gang-up, mean-girl bully thing,” Lacy said. “You went on national television and told the world I was threatening to sue you.” While Janet insisted that Lacy said that she was planning to send cease-and-desist letters, Lacy denied it.

“I don’t have a mean-girl, gang-up mentality,” Janet stated. She added that her only problem with Lacy was how she sent Michelle “a legal letter.” Then, Lacy slammed Janet for “making excuses” instead of apologizing.

According to Lacy, her bad feelings stemmed from her first meeting with Janet, when Janet said that “she was Googling” Lacy and “doing a background check.” When Lacy pressed Janet, trying to hold her accountable, Janet quickly apologized.

Then, Jesse chimed in. “This is the type of apology that everybody hates you for,” Jesse said. While Jesse and Lacy insisted that Janet’s apology wasn’t genuine, Janet fired back, saying, “You don’t mean much to me, so it’s not worth my time.” Then, Janet walked away, giving them the finger, a smile, and a heartfelt, “F*ck you.” Meanwhile, Lacy told Jesse not to yell at Janet.

Outside, Janet spoke with Lacy again. “There’s not this like hatred or animosity towards you,” Janet told Lacy. However, Lacy replied, “That’s my whole persona now. Google my name, and it’s Baywatch, cheating, threatening, lying….” Finally, Janet apologized. However, Jesse defied his girlfriend’s request to apologize for yelling at Janet.

At the house, Luke told Zack that he doesn’t feel “respected and loved.” In his confessional, Luke explained that the “constant criticism” stays with him, leading him to doubt himself.

Meanwhile, Lacy and Michelle started to squabble over the cease-and-desist. “I was the only one that got it, by the way. I wasn’t doing anything, but you threatened to sue me,” Michelle stated. Lacy insisted that she tried to get Michelle “to stop talking” about her. When Lacy mentioned some text messages that Michelle sent Jesse, Michelle became heated. “I don’t care!” she yelled.

In his talking head, Jesse explained that Michelle hadn’t yet filed for divorce when he started dating Lacy. Cue the text messages! Michelle wrote, “Look at all the crap you’ve said about me, yet you’ve already introduced her to a fake OC girl.” Another text read, “I don’t approve a girl who looks like that to be Isabella’s stepmom.”

Then, Lacy alleged that Michelle “pushed Jesse through a window.” WHAT?! “Are you joking right now?” Michelle exclaimed. “I pushed him through a window?”

“Oh, wow, we’re getting there? Yeah, she did,” Jesse replied. “I did not push Jesse out a window,” Michelle said in a talking head. “Last year, Jesse was drunk, and he was so upset that I had asked for a divorce, and he was in my face. I basically, softly, got him out of the way.” She added, “He took steps back, hit the window, and said, ‘You just pushed me through a window.’”

However, Jesse’s version was different. “She was doing a huge commercial deal that I had been helping her on. She said, ‘That’s my deal. We’re not splitting it,’” he explained. “She jumped over the bed, and I was folding laundry, and she pushed me back, and my arm went through the window in my bedroom.”

Danny and Nia continue to clash in The Valley

The next morning, Schwartz confessed to Lala that he had a “fleshly, intense, carnal sex dream” about her. “We did some freaky stuff,” he said. TMI, Schwartz.

Before the group headed off to the safari, Kristen and Luke had a productive talk, and she apologized for taking out her emotions and anxiety on him. “You know you and Kaia are my absolute priority,” he told her.

The crew boarded two safari trucks, and Danny was already grumbling about baby Adelaide going with them. However, when Danny boarded, he didn’t bother to help their nanny, Lina, with the baby and stroller. Later, Nia was worried about how hot it was and how the baby had no shade. “Why are you laughing?” Nia asked her husband.

“A lot going on,” he replied as he leaned away to look at the animals. “I’m really overwhelmed, and I’m hot, and our baby’s hot,” Nia stated. “Same,” he replied. I guess he won’t be winning the title of “Mr. Empathy.” When Nia asked him to look in the baby’s bag for something so she could fan Adelaide, he made a face. Lordy.

As the group had lunch in the park, Michelle spoke with Lacy to set a boundary. “I don’t want what happened yesterday to ever happen again,” Michelle said. Then, she explained that she and Jesse had an agreement about introducing their daughter to people, which is why Michelle went off about Lacy in those texts. Finally, Lacy apologized, as she wanted to get to a better place with Michelle. The duo agreed to move forward.

    Welcome back, Dark-Side Danny

As the ladies started getting the men ready for the pageant, Danny was getting nasty. “We’re here to win. Do you know what you’re doing here?” he asked his flustered wife.

“I feel like you’re being really critical, and it’s really hard for me to function,” Nia said. “This is your project,” he reminded Nia. “I don’t lose.” After Nia started his make-up, she claimed that she made him “look like a clown.” Well, he acted like one that weekend.

When Nia put the long, blonde wig on his head, Danny exclaimed, “Get it done, and give it a trim!” Finally, Lala intervened. “It’s making me feel very uncomfortable the way you’re talking to her. It’s making me very triggered,” Lala said.

He laughed, insisting they were having fun. “It sounds aggressive and disrespectful,” Lala added. “Don’t let her talk to me like that,” Danny told Nia after Lala left.

Then, Lala asked Jesse about Danny’s behavior. In his talking head, Jesse admitted that Danny was “definitely ordering her around, definitely being aggressive.” Then Jesse revealed that Danny had been drinking.

When Lala saw Danny again, he said his drag name was Miss Triggered. Lala noted in her confessional that Danny hurling her comment back at her was “so disrespectful” and “misogynistic.” Then, when someone called for Lala, Danny told Jesse, “She’s triggered!” So, Lala came in hot.

“Hey, Daniel, f*cking knock it off, dog. You’re passive-aggressive. I’m just aggressive,” she said. “You were being aggressive and disrespectful to your wife, so I shut it down.” Danny asked, “So, you’re in my marriage?” Lala fired back, “I would hate to see how you talk to her behind closed doors.”

Then, the TO BE CONTINUED flashed up on the screen…

The Valley airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. Episodes will stream on Peacock.
