Timothée Chalamet Open To Reality TV After Oscars Loss?

Timothée Chalamet starred in some of the biggest blockbusters in the last few years. He has several other projects in the works. However, his reputation hit a snag days before the 2026 Oscar Awards. Now, he’s rumored to be open to joining reality TV after the Oscars loss. Keep reading for the latest on his possible career move.

Timothée Chalamet Has Huge Fall From Grace

Timothée Chalamet began his acting career in the early 2000s with minor roles. His breakthrough role was in the 2017 movie Call Me By Your Name. He went on to star in some of the biggest movies from the last few years, including portraying Bob Dylan in the A Complete Unknown biopic.

He’s received multiple awards for his performance. But despite being nominated three times, he’s still never won an Oscar Award. 2026 was supposed to be his year but an interview he did days before the ceremony went viral and allegedly cost him the trophy. Michael B. Jordan won Best Actor instead.

What did Timothée Chalamet say that was so bad? He said that he wouldn’t want to work in the opera or ballet because “no one cares” about those mediums. Even if his comments didn’t cost him the Oscar, but it definitely damaged his reputation. He was reportedly left out of a post-Oscars promotional event for the upcoming Dune movie.

Timothée Chalamet’s love life was reportedly another issue for Oscar voters. He’s been dating reality star Kylie Jenner for three years and it’s serious. Despite dating for several years, the actor has never appeared on The Kardashians reality show. His name has been mentioned, but not often.

Insiders spilled to OK! magazine that Kylie Jenner has renewed hope that her boyfriend would finally appear on her family’s reality show. “After everything that happened on that stage, Timothée is in a more vulnerable place than we have ever seen. The jokes, the loss – it knocked his confidence, and that changes how open he might be to new opportunities,” the source said.

Another insider claimed that the setback could be the reason Timothée Chalamet finally appears on The Kardashians. “Kylie has always wanted Timothée to be part of the show, even in a limited way, but he has resisted. Now, because of the humiliation, there is a feeling they might finally be able to talk him into it. The family sees this as a moment where he might lean on them more publicly, and that could translate into appearances on camera,” the source said.

Timothée Chalamet may be the laughingstock in Hollywood right now, but the public has a short memory. He has several other movie projects in the works. By the time Dune: Part Three comes out in December, no one will even remember his gaffe. Tell us in the comments if you think the actor will make an appearance on reality TV soon.
