According to a PEOPLE report dated January 27, 2026, a Peltz family source weighed in on the feud. The source said that Victoria and Nicola “got along in the first few months”. Then, the source added, “Victoria started acting like a jealous girlfriend”. They explained further, “She seemed so jealous of Nicola”. However, a Beckham insider countered, “Nicola is the one who is jealous of Victoria. She wants to be famous”.
Meanwhile, the report touches on how wedding planning became a pressure point in 2022. A Peltz source said Victoria agreed to design the gown, but was “too busy” when fittings came up. Later, the source said she called Nicola’s mother, Claudia, to opt out of designing the gown. Nicola ended up wearing Valentino instead. Moreover, the wedding DJ, Fat Tony, called one dance moment “really awkward” on “This Morning”.
