The band are currently playing a string of small shows in Europe, coinciding with their appearance at Primavera Sound later this week (replacing Clairo).

According to Setlist.fm, the song in question is called ‘The Sofa’ and sees them show off a slower side to their forthcoming album ‘The Clearing’. The album, which marks their major label debut, will be released on Friday August 29 via Sony Music, and you can pre order it here.

Wolf Alice are playing a show at TivoliVredenburg Cloud Nine in Utrecht, Netherlands tonight and at Schwuz in Berlin on June 16. Find any remaining tickets for the shows here.

Meanwhile, the north London quartet also debuted a brooding new song ‘Thorns’ as well as the album’s lead single ‘Bloom Baby Bloom’ in Kilkenny at one of three warm-up shows in Ireland.

In a five-star review of ‘Bloom Baby Bloom’, NME concluded: “‘Bloom Baby Bloom’ is a fitting song for Wolf Alice to return with. It speaks to coming into your own, rising up through the chaos of life and emerging completely sure of yourself. ‘But I bloom, baby bloom / Watch me and you’ll see just what I’m worth,’ Rowsell declares, serenely self-assured. ‘Yes, I bloom, baby bloom / Every flower needs to neighbour with the dirt.’

In addition, the Mercury Prize-winning group confirmed a major new tour, including dates in the UK, Europe and North America. They kick off in Atlanta on September 10, with UK dates running from the end of November to the start of December. See all of those dates below and find tickets here.
