A new season of Bachelor in Paradise officially began on Monday, July 7, which meant a whole new group of singles from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette hit the beach for another shot at love. Episode 1 was three hours long, with the first rose ceremony taking place at the end.
Over the course of the first week, six women and ten men arrived on the beach. The women were in control for Week 1, which meant that they got to give out the roses, and four men were sent home. Each week, the power shifts, with more people arriving throughout the course of the show.
