Searchlight Pictures has unveiled the first look at Yorgos Lanthimos’ new film, Kinds of Kindness.
In this self-described “triptych fable,” the Poor Things director reunites with Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, and Margaret Qualley. The cast also includes Jesse Plemons, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie,and Hunter Schafer.
Per the plot synopsis, the film’s three stories revolve around “a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.”
Kinds of Kindness is set to open in theaters on June 21st, 2024.
Meanwhile, Poor Things — which was one of Consequence’s 25 favorite films of 2023 — is currently streaming on Disney+.
