Season 14 of Real Housewives of New Jersey was the end of the franchise as fans knew it. The cast was divided into Team Teresa Giudice and Team Melissa Gorga. Plus, the finale was so explosive that the reunion was scrapped. Since there was no path forward, Andy Cohen made it clear that there would be major cast changes. Even a complete reboot isn’t out of the question. And now RHONJ alum Danielle Staub is weighing in on the future of Jersey.
Danielle Staub wants to lead Season 15 of RHONJ with this star
As you may recall, Danielle was the first-ever villain on RHONJ. Then she made an appearance on House of Villains. Plus, Teresa and Danielle’s feud was epic. During the first season of RHONJ, Teresa flipped a table at Danielle, and they continued to feud during Season 2.
Later, Danielle returned to the show as Teresa’s zen buddy. But when Danielle said that Teresa encouraged her to yank Margaret Josephs’ ponytail, Teresa was furious. After that stunt, Danielle left the show for good. Or did she?
A user on X recently posted a clip of Danielle appearing on a podcast. One of the podcast hosts asked Danielle, “If you were Andy what would you do with Jersey?”
She replied, “I would take Teresa and I, and I would recast the whole thing and let us segway a new cast.” But, the last we knew, Teresa was angry at Danielle for exposing her part in the hair-pulling incident.
And when asked if Kim DePaola should also return, Danielle shut down that option in a hurry. “She was never on,” Danielle responded, “she wasn’t even a paid friend.” Then the X user who posted the video wrote, “That would be incredible.” Would it though? Judging by the other comments, that user may be in the minority.
The RHONJ fans aren’t throwing out the welcome mat for Danielle Staub
One fan on X commented, “Oh god no! Danielle Staub would be a damn disaster if she was brought back. They need some young wealthy families with kids. Like how the damn show started.” Another wrote, “Tired. They already tried that. Didn’t work. Then Danielle was fired for the 2nd time.” A third shared, “Ummmm THATS A HELLLLLLL NOOOO!! @daniellestaub is a has been!!! Her stories and lies are ridiculous.”
I mean, former RHONJ producer Carlos King proclaimed that Danielle deserves all the credit for making the series a “hit.” Still, I think that Danielle’s shot at returning to RHONJ is slim to none. But with RHONJ’s future up in the air, who knows what Bravo is cooking up?
