This stars Brooke D’Orsay and Fuller House alum John Brotherton. “A former television star waits out a scandal in Vermont. She becomes close with the innkeeper and his daughter while she helps him direct the local children’s Christmas pageant.”

    What Is Hallmark’s Following Yonder Star About?

    Hallmark’s 2024 DaySpring Christmas movie is Following Yonder Star. This stars Brooke D’Orsay and John Brotherton. What is this movie about? According to TV Insider’s Countdown To Christmas roundup, Abby Marshall is a television actress known as an “inspirational mother.” However, when scandal strikes, she needs a quick getaway. Therefore, she heads to Vermont.

    Unfortunately, her room at a luxury Vermont resort is double booked and there are no hotels nearby. That is because a rare astronomical event is about to happen. It is a beautiful star that mirrors the Star of Bethlehem. So, there is one place left. That is at an inn.

    Widower Tom owns the inn, and the single father is in charge of the Christmas pageant. Soon, Abby finds herself helping out. In return, her life is helped out by this small gesture.

    When Is The Premiere Of Following Yonder Star?

    The premiere of the DaySpring movie, Following Yonder Star, starring Brooke D’Orsay and John Brotherton is on Sunday, December 15, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel. This holiday movie is available to stream on Peacock up to 72 hours after the premiere.

    John Brotherton And Brooke D’Orsay In Two Hallmark Christmas Movies This Year

    Both John Brotherton and Brooke D’Orsay are two holiday movies this holiday season. In addition to Following Yonder Star, which airs on the Hallmark Channel, Brotherton and D’Orsay are also in the same Cherry Lane movie. There are three this year and both are on Deck The Halls On Cherry Lane, which is airing on the network’s streaming channel, Hallmark+.

    According to TV Insider, Brotherton is reunited with Erin Cahill. In addition, D’Orsay with Sam Page, and Benjamin Hollingsworth, Chelsea Hobbs, and Matt Dusk. What is this movie about?

    “In 1966, single guy David’s (Hollingsworth) plans for a simple Christmas are dashed when his neighbor Stephanie (Hobbs) arrives with news that he won a contest to have Tommy Saunders’ (Dusk) Christmas Eve TV broadcast live from her house – but used his address.”

    Next, “In 1981, John (Brotherton) and Lizzy (Cahill) learn that this will be their last Christmas on Cherry Lane after John receives a job offer in Michigan and Lizzie finds out she’s pregnant.”

    “In 2000, best friends Matt (Page) and Rebecca (D’Orsay) find unexpected feelings developing as they try to find out who is behind a series of Christmas-related random acts of kindness.”
