BLUMHOUSE HORRORVERSE in Meta Horizon – An Immersive Horror Experience Launching on May 22: “Get ready for a scream… As April marks the halfway point to the spookiest night of the year, we’re celebrating by announcing that Blumhouse Horrorverse is coming to Meta Horizon. On Thursday, May 22, fans will be introduced to an immersive horror experience that transports them into the heart-pounding world of horror movies from their favorite franchises. Fans can RSVP for the world HERE. The experience will also be available on the web at https://horizon.meta.com and via the Meta Horizon mobile app.
Blumhouse Horrorverse is a theme park-like locale set in a dark, foggy forest, with the imposing edifice of the Blumhouse at its center. The woods are the place to roleplay and socialize with your friends and fellow scare addicts, featuring themed activities and elements based on Blumhouse stories as you explore, such as target practice areas based on The Purge franchise, a Wolf Man mini game, and a screening area for exclusive Blumhouse content.
As you immerse yourself, you’ll discover even more eerie environments throughout the world, inspired by iconic Blumhouse and Universal movies like M3GAN, Wolf Man, The Black Phone, and Happy Death Day. But the true terror begins when you enter the Blumhouse itself, where you can take part in the Survival Lockdown game. Anyone can activate the game by throwing the Lockdown lever, and whoever is in the house will find themselves randomly assigned roles: victim or villain. Victims must work together to locate missing keycards and end the lockdown, while the villain – who can embody fan-favorite characters like M3GAN, Babyface, and more – aims to eliminate each survivor before they escape.
You can feel the fear of Blumhouse Horrorverse in Meta Horizon soon.”

THE RESTLESS FEW: “A terrifying new entry into the realm of religious horror, The Restless Few is a novella bound in unrelenting dread, spiritual unraveling, and psychological madness. Scheduled for release through Anuci Press (Anuci-Press.com) on Friday, June 13th, 2025, this unforgiving narrative of faith and madness will be available in paperback and digital editions through Bookshop.org, Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and other suppliers of horrific literature.”
INFERNAL SYNOPSIS
The Restless Few follows Father Thomas Abner through his trauma-filled upbringing and into his present religious fervor. Haunted by beings demanding tribute, Father Abner’s mental condition quickly deteriorates and pushes him into a fanatical killing spree that serves to satisfy his goal of eternal salvation.
Part psychological descent, part theological nightmare, this is not a story for the faint of faith.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
James M Watjen is a middle aged and crazy horror author and filmmaker who currently resides between the cornfields and river basins of southern, Indiana. An award-winning indie filmmaker (Best First Time Director – 2024 Chicago Horror Film Festival) and indie horror author (The Vermin Sleep – Nightmare Press, 2024), Watjen pays homage to directors and writers of the past through his visceral depictions of terrifying realism mixed with tension-filled plots. He was previously featured on Rue Morgue Magazine’s website, Indie Horror Junkie Magazine (Issue #10), and various other horror media outlets.
AUTHOR’S WORD
The Restless Few is a narrative that invokes a sense of awareness of the lack of separation of mental illness and societal status. The story makes a point to showcase that mental health conditions can affect anyone, no matter their career or religious status. The growing stress and pressure of being called to alleviate others of their worries can also be a catalyst for depression and anxiety among priests and other religious figureheads. Mental health and religion are two areas of life that sometimes have conflicting views of what the definition of sanity is. The Restless Few explores that clashing viewpoint through the lens of Father Thomas Abner and his life.
