Jimmy Kimmel brought in some big names to host his late-night talk show while he was on vacation this summer. Jabs at President Trump from Rosie O’Donnell were expected. However, no one thought Jelly Roll would take aim at the President. In fact, the “Save Me” singer was assumed to be MAGA just a few months ago. But now, he’s facing backlash after making a few jokes at President Trump’s expense on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Jelly Roll’s fans have turned on him, but what about his fellow musicians? Keep reading for a look into the rumors that Blake Shelton kicked Jelly Roll off his tour amid the anti-Trump fallout.
Jelly Roll Kicked Off Blake Shelton’s Tour Amid Anti-Trump Fallout?
Jelly Roll is going through a lot right now. He’s fresh off his divorce from Bunnie Xo, and now he’s the enemy of country music fans. He could use the support of his fellow musicians. However, Blake Shelton allegedly kicked Jelly Roll off his tour.

Both singers were part of Kid Rock’s Rock the Country festival. Facebook page America’s Last Line of Defense made the shocking claim in a viral social media post. “Blake Shelton Cancels Four Shows with Jelly Roll: ‘My Fans Have Spoken,’” the headline blared.
“Blake has always stayed out of politics, but this isn’t even about that. Jelly ruined his career and country fans don’t want to see him anymore. That’s the bottom line,” the post continued. Blake Shelton fans celebrated his stance against Jelly Roll in the comments.
However, the post is fake. The page’s description even admits that nothing posted there is real. Jelly Roll and Blake Shelton were both headliners on the Rock The Country tour. But they didn’t perform at any of the same shows. Blake Shelton performed in Ocala, Florida, on August 28–29, 2026.

Jelly Roll performed at the Bloomingdale, Georgia, date in late May and in Ashland, Kentucky, on July 10–11, 2026. The Rock The Country fest wraps up in Hamburg, New York, on September 11–12.
Blake Shelton never kicked the “Need a Favor” singer off a tour, but he was banned from another event for his anti-Trump jokes.
He Was ‘Disinvited’ From Mar-a-Lago Event
Performing at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago is a tough choice for celebrities. Full House actor John Stamos was relentlessly trolled for hosting a charity event at the estate. Jelly Roll was invited to perform at a fundraiser for the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Foundation at Mar-a-Lago. Lou Ferrigno, Dean Cain and Kevin Sorbo are scheduled to appear at the event.

However, the founder of the Big Blue Bash revoked the invitation after Jelly Roll joked about Trump on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “We’re DONE. You’re FIRED,” the organization wrote on Twitter. “We’re formally withdrawing the invitation for Jelly Roll.”
Jelly Roll never accepted the invitation to perform. However, he did recently announce that he was taking a break from touring for a while. Share your thoughts in the comments.
