Is Spencer Pratt Fit To Be Mayor?
During his time on The Hills, Spencer Pratt behaved out of line and was often erratic. He could be seen butting heads with Lauren Conrad, who got her start on Laguna Beach. She had been best friends with Heidi Montag, who was dating Spencer. The two ultimately tied the knot, but their romance ended Heidi and Lauren’s friendship. Kristin Cavallari, who also started on LB and moved on to The Hills, was close with Spencer and Heidi (Speidi). That being said, they were asked how they felt regarding Spencer’s bid for the Mayor of Los Angeles, California.
The 20th reunion of Laguna Beach will premiere Friday, April 10th, on The Roku Channel, so the cast is doing a lot of press and asked everything and anything. Therefore, it made sense why Spencer was brought up. Lauren noted that she still lives in Orange County, so she is not able to vote in Los Angeles. So, her opinion does not matter. The same went for her LB co-star, Stephen Colletti, who also lives in the OC. However, Kristin, who resides in Nashville, Tennessee, was open to Spencer as the Mayor:
“He’s on to something, we’ll see what happens. I will always have a soft spot for Spencer, I think he’s great.”
Spencer opted to run for Mayor after the January 2025 fires, and he lost his home. He believes that he can fix a severely broken system. Currently, the Mayor is Karen Bass, and surprisingly enough, many support Spencer Pratt and his vision.
A New Beginning
Lauren Conrad has been asked if she has healed things with Spencer Pratt. She noted that it has been so long since she has seen him and Heidi. Therefore, it seems to be water under the bridge. Moreover, Laguna Beach fans will see her and Kristin Cavallari reconcile with a fireside chat. They have already made amends and clarified what was real and what was staged for entertainment. It was a big deal to get everyone back together, and some were hesitant. However, when all was said and done, it was a great experience.
