A lot has changed in Lindsay Lohan’s life since her party-girl ways. She has gotten married and welcomed a son. With that has come a complete career resurgence and fans are beyond obsessed with her. While promoting her latest project, she stopped by The View and paid homage to her hit film, Mean Girls via her parenting style. Keep reading for further details.
Lindsay Lohan Is A Mean Girls Parent
Fans have watched the evolution of Lindsay Lohan from playing precocious redheaded twins in Parent Trap to her fun but sultry turn as Cady Heron in Mean Girls. She took on several more roles but personal struggles plagued her for some time. It took a toll on her career and it was questionable if she would be able to make a comeback. Lindsay relocated to Dubai and tried to collect herself, figuring out what was best for her. Eventually, she started to make her grand return with holiday films like Falling for Christmas.
It was so well-received that the roles started to flow in and it was eventually announced she and Jamie Lee Curtis were teaming up again. They were doing a Freaky Friday sequel, Freakier Friday, coming out in 2025. During all of this, Lindsay wed financier Bader Shammas in 2022. They then welcomed their son, Luai, in 2023. Now, she has a film, Our Little Secret out on Netflix. She was promoting it on The View recently and shared how she has integrated Mean Girls into her parenting.
According to People, Lindsay Lohan has taken a cue from Regina George’s mother, June, played by Amy Poehler. She infamously referred to herself as a “cool mom” so Lindsay has taken a cue from her:
“My son is, like, my life. Every morning, I take a picture of him when he wakes up. I have too many pictures but I want to see how he changes every day. There’s just so much love. Everything he does is so exciting, every day, and I want to capture it every day.”
Moderator, Whoopi Goldberg then chimed in, joking that Lindsay just needs to wait until Luai turns twenty. That was when the actress went all June George on the Sister Act star:
“Oh no, I’ll be nice, I’ll be nice. I’ll be a cool mom.”
