An Insider Recently Talked About Live With Kelly & Mark‘s Current Break
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have been officially hosting Live With Kelly and Mark together since 2023, with Ripa having joined the show back in 2001. The two famously married in the 1990s after playing love interests on All My Children.
Viewers tuning into Live With Kelly and Mark on Monday, June 22, saw a pre-filmed episode. This continued the trend from the previous week, which was also made up of reruns.
Ripa and Consuelos are taking a break as the show’s cast and crew are currently on their annual summer vacation. Speaking with TV Insider, an insider confirmed that the series will continue to air prerecorded episodes this week.
Despite these episodes being prerecorded, viewers can still see some new content. Last week, episodes featured new “Stump Mark” and “Travel Trivia” segments, as well as a mix of both new and previously aired interviews.
The series will officially return with new, live episodes starting on Monday, June 29. The week will kick off with celebrity guests Michelle Buteau and Mr. Fantasy.
Live Fans Can Also See A Few Social Media Shares From Kelly & Mark During Their Summer Vacation
Fans are no strangers to prerecorded episodes from the show. Pre-filmed episodes typically air on Thursdays and Fridays. The show also went on a brief break around this time last year, allowing the cast and crew to take some time off.
Despite being pre-filmed, Ripa and Consuelos still managed to be timely on the show. They recently celebrated their daughter, Lola’s, birthday. During the June 16 episode, Ripa announced, “Guess what today is, everybody! It is Tuesday, June 16, 2026. It is our daughter’s 25th birthday.” Consuelos chimed in, “Happy birthday, Lola!”
Fans have also seen social media shares from the couple during their summer break. Recently, for example, Ripa shared a post just in time for Father’s Day. With the post, Ripa paid tribute to her husband, her father, Joseph Ripa, and her late father-in-law, Saul Consuelos.
In the post, Ripa shared, “Let’s hear it for the DADS today! These three have impacted our lives so greatly, and especially dad Consuelos, who lives on in our memories and in our hearts,” complete with a slideshow.
