Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles Season 15, Episode 9 Recap

Tracy goes on a disastrous double date on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles Season 15, Episode 9! Last week, Heather and Altman’s relationship was on the line from the stress of opening their OC office, and Flagg and Tracy closed their Roxbury listing snuggled up in bed. This week, Flagg takes on the most expensive listing in Pasadena, and Tracy goes on a double date with Heather and Altman that she’d rather forget. Here’s everything you need to know about Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, Season 15, Episode 9: “You Splooge, You Lose.”

Flagg was in his element at the Oak Knoll property in Pasadena. It was built in the 1920s and had a Great Gatsby vibe. The home was 12,000 square feet and had a secret elevator that went underground and connected to a museum that was also on the property. Flagg knew he had to be the realtor for this home. He pitched himself to the seller, and they agreed on the $36.5 million price point. It would be the most expensive property ever sold in Pasadena. Flagg knew he had his work cut out for him, but he had an idea.

Tracy caught up on the phone with her mom on the way to a penthouse property in West Hollywood. They had the typical mother-daughter conversation of the mom disappointed she wasn’t dating a famous football player yet. At the penthouse, Tracy assessed damages from the previous tenant, who had leased at a whopping $75,000 per month. The penthouse seemed to be in good shape until she found dog poop and pee on all the drapes. As Real Housewives of New York alum Luann de Lesseps sang, “Money can’t buy you class.” Tracy concluded they should list it for rent at $80,000 a month, as well as $26 million to any potential buyers. The seller agreed and asked Tracy to maybe find a tenant without a dog this time.

Altman went to his Benedict Canyon property to give a private showing for Dr. Ben. This was a huge Beverly Hills estate complete with a 20-car garage, perfect for Dr. Ben’s ever-growing collection. Altman wanted to convince him to not build a new home but to buy this move-in property instead. With the massive car garage, he would literally no longer have to store his extra vehicles in the kitchen and living room. Note to self: go back in time and become a plastic surgeon. Dr. Ben had sparkles in his eyes once he saw the garage, but no offer was made just yet.

Flagg pulled out all the stops for the Oak Knoll marketing video. He brought in his trusty staff of Yoko, Carol, and doggie George to star in it with him. And to help it go viral, his bestie Denise Richards also made a cameo. She did not come in wearing an upside-down jacket but looked fantastic lounging poolside and sipping cocktails with Flagg at the property’s private Tiki bar. George was the real star of the video, however, as the security dog by the gates. Flagg wasn’t sure if the video was coherent, but if it spoke to the $35 million demographic, he was fine.

Tracy needs some magic to sell her West Hollywood Penthouse on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles

Selling a $26 million penthouse was going to take some magic on Tracy’s end. As Altman put it, why spend that much on a penthouse “when they could buy a mansion in LA?” So Tracy pulled out all the stops and hired a magician to make a buyer magically appear. No buyer appeared, but they did magically bring Altman and Flagg closer together over their shared dislike of magicians. Tracy also hoped Mr. Right would magically appear as well. Altman had just the man for her and wanted to do a blind double date. Tracy was skeptical, but as long as they were somewhat physically fit, she was down.

The next day, Altman wanted to pull a rabbit out of a hat for Max, the designer and developer of Benedict Canyon. Max and his partner Emil were interested in purchasing the Somma Bel Air property and using their magic touch to transform the $25 million listing to one worth $100 million. Max came in with a lowball offer of $17.5 million, but Altman was able to use that to negotiate down to $19.5 million. The seller accepted, and Altman was pumped to be able to sell the home once it was renovated. He just wished he had more time in his busy work schedule to celebrate.

Flagg was at the infamous Pink’s Hotdogs with Diana discussing the Oak Knoll video. It lacked the comedy Flagg was going for. The director blamed it on Flagg’s deadpan style, but Flagg mused that he gave his perfect Bill Murray impression. The video needed more of George in his Hawaiian shirt, duh. The director had his instructions, and it was back to the cutting room floor.

Tracy got all fancy and met up with Altman and Heather for a blind double date. Altman joked that her date has “seen a lot of women nude.” And right on cue, Dr. Ben showed up. Tracy was open to him at first. She even decided to drop their code word of needing dessert if things got bad. However, she spoke too soon because Dr. Ben got super lewd and creepy. He joked about wanting to touch her and also having a bucket list of hooking up with twins. Tracy ran to the bathroom with Heather and said he was a lot. She added, “He’s a playboy on a massive level.”

Back at the table, Tracy grilled him on his past serious relationships. He had several, and Altman joked the last one ended because she had to go to college. Dr. Ben told Tracy he was more of a “splooge” and told Altman to demonstrate what that meant. WTF? Tracy had enough and went off on him. Altman was shocked; he had never seen this side of Dr. Ben before. In her confessional, Heather said seeing this behavior made her appreciate Altman. If anything, at least this disastrous date brought Heather and Altman closer together.

Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles continues Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
