Let’s hope Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher are headed for smooth sailing as they face their newest adventure: parenthood.
The couple met on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9. At the time, Gael already had a boyfriend, but she almost immediately recognized the undeniable chemistry with Nathan. Now they’re expecting a baby together, a son. When they first learned there was a little one on the way, the news was something of a shock.
“Honestly, it was a mix of emotions,” Gael confesses. “I was excited, a little scared, but mostly just overwhelmed with happiness. It felt surreal in the best way, like everything was about to change in the best way possible.”

In a recent interview with People, Gael shares that her first few months of pregnancy were relatively easy. “Feeling super bloated and like my body’s expanding by the second,” she adds, “but overall quite well. Craving all the things I can’t have … I never wanted oysters more in my life, but it’s all so worth it.”
While the couple begins putting their baby’s nursery together, Nathan wants to be sure their son’s room is as stylish as possible. “Nathan has made it a priority that bub’s fits will be on point,” she noted.
Although the arrival of a baby is sure to be a massive lifestyle change for the young couple, Gael says that right now they’re just excited.
“I’m both excited and nervous,” she explains. “It’s such a huge new chapter. There’s so much we don’t know yet, but we’re so excited to grow through it all.”
“The thought of sharing our world with our new little best friend just fills our hearts,” the former yachtie concludes.
