The New York Comic Con toy reveals keep coming, and NECA has shared a fresh look at its Ultimate Elvira action figure, celebrating 45 years of the Mistress of the Dark.
And yes, she comes with the monster casserole. How could she not?
Inspired by the 1988 film Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, the fully articulated, 7-inch-scale figure wears a fabric dress and includes interchangeable hands and faceplates, giving you a few different ways to display the iconic horror hostess.
In Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, Cassandra Peterson’s horror hostess inherits a house, a recipe book, and a dog from her late great-aunt, then heads to a conservative Massachusetts town to collect. Naturally, Elvira scandalizes the locals while getting tangled up in some actual witchcraft. It’s a goofy horror comedy, and those movie-specific accessories make this figure all the more fun.

The accessories are where this gets especially fun. Alongside Elvira’s dog Gonk, the set includes a snake, bracelets, a dagger, sunglasses, and a casserole with an attachable monster and tail. There’s also a display stand.
That shot of the creature sticking out of the pot next to Elvira is pretty wonderful. It’s exactly the kind of ridiculous little detail that makes a figure like this so much more tempting.

The figure comes in window-box packaging with an opening front flap, for those of you who want to keep the Mistress of the Dark in her box.
Preorders are open now for $37.99 through the NECA Store, with shipping currently estimated for the second quarter of 2027.
