The Real Housewives of New York Season 15, Episode 14 has arrived, and with it, perhaps the most intense drama of the RHONY reboot era. Last week, we got a small tease, but there was a lot more to the story. Honestly, there’s plenty we could say about this episode. So, we’re gonna say it. Mention it all, as one former RHONY star might say. Join us as we run down the latest installment’s highlights from Puerto Rico.
Here’s what went down in RHONY Season 15, Episode 14: “Quit Your Beachin.”
What happened on Real Housewives of New York Season 15, Episode 14?
On RHONY Season 15, Episode 14, viewers got to see exactly how Racquel felt about Ubah’s rude beach comments. We also got to see some of the incredible drama that took place on the final night of the trip. With Ubah and Brynn going to war, and some of the other ladies also boiling over, it’s hard to see how this group will ever come back together. We didn’t get to see the entire night’s antics, as that will take place in the season finale next week. But, there was enough to keep us entertained. If this is how the season has to go out, so be it. We’ve been waiting for some real drama for a while now, and these ladies are finally delivering…
A dead bird on the bitch causes tension between Ubah and the rest of the group
“How did we go from the best time ever to Shakespearean tragedy?” Erin asks at the start of the episode after a collection of flashforwards teasing the drama ahead. But before that, we have Ubah’s unnecessary remarks during Racquel’s beach trip to deal with.
“I would never go to somebody’s home country and start bitching and complaining about a place that they’re taking me to, that they told me was one of their favorites as a child,” Racquel says in confessional. “If the beach is good enough for Jenna, it’s good enough for all you bitches.”
Jessel agrees, but has the courtesy to be respectful and keep her mouth shut. At least until she reaches her confessional.
The beach itself is gorgeous, save for a dead pigeon. How timely after all of the pigeon chatter this season. But as Racquel points out, that is nature. These things happen, and it just so happens that RHONY cameras were rolling this time around. Despite Ubah’s suggestions nobody swims, a handful of the women do get in the water. And it looks like a great time!
Ubah should have let her guard down, turned the diva dial down just a touch, and enjoyed herself. Otherwise, to quote Brynn, why is she here?
Speaking of Brynn, she’s flirting with one of the beach’s lifeguards. She throws herself onto the sand in front of him, expecting him to come rushing. Instead, he seems extremely bemused. Perhaps it’s because he’s a “teenage boy,” according to Sai.
The beach excursion does eventually come to an end, but not because of Ubah. Instead, the rain starts pouring, and none of these women want to get their hair wet. Back to the villa!
Erin is questioned about her “conference” with Sai and Brynn
Ubah calls out Erin about her chat with Sai and Brynn. Erin says she and Jessel should chat directly to the others, and isn’t very forthcoming with the details. Of course, viewers know they were all calling out Jessel and her husband Pavit for not being what they think constitutes to be a real, loving relationship. It was one of the nastiest bitching sessions we’ve seen these ladies engage in, and Jessel must feel awful watching it back.
Meanwhile, Brynn still has Jenna’s “bush” on her mind. The pubes really have everybody thinking. So, Brynn’s ordered same-day delivery for some fluffy pubic region additions, and yet another RHONY prank. This one’s actually kinda funny, though. And you know Jenna’s going to take it in the spirit it’s meant, even if she’s got everybody synchronized swimming gear.
As Ubah joins the other ladies – minus Jenna – outside, Racquel tries to bring up how offended she was. “You have to really think about how you broach certain subjects with her,” Racquel says in confessional. She’s decided now is not the time, as “Puerto Rico’s been through enough.” Instead, she waits for the group to depart to get ready for their swim lessons. Then she goes to talk to Ubah one-on-one.
Ubah denies being rude, said the beach smelled bad, and doubled-down on the area being “disgusting.” She goes from 0 to 100, saying “nobody asked me to sign an NDA,” and claimed to have been to Puerto Rico more than Racquel because she’s been there for photoshoots.
“That makes your insults even worse,” Racquel says in confessional, and she’s right. Ubah just doesn’t get it – and Sai agrees. A terrible moment for Ubah, who’s fast becoming the queen of deflection.
Ubah ruins Brynn and Erin’s plan to prank Abe
Erin hatches a plan with Brynn to call Abe and pretend they’re snuggling together in the bath. Basically, they’re trying to have phone sex with Abe, who clearly knows something is up as soon as they call.
“Abe you are on speakerphone!” Ubah shouts before the ladies have a chance to continue toying with the guy. “Shut the f*ck up,” Brynn says, upset the joke’s been ruined. “No, you shut the f*ck up,” Ubah says, telling Abe everyone can hear him. Walking away, she says “F*ck you guys,” to which her bestie Sai responds, “Ubah, come on.”
In confessional, Abe says he’d reject a threesome with Erin and Brynn. “It violates my rules of swinging,” he quips. Basically, if you’re swinging, the third party must be a stranger. Otherwise “it gets awkward after.”
“I was gonna joke for a second,” Erin says. Ubah shouts over, “Have some respect, some of us are praying for a husband every single day.” SNORE. That’s fine, Ubah, but it doesn’t mean you get to dictate other people’s relationships and marriages.
“It’s harmless, it’s funny, everyone is consenting,” Brynn says in confessional, before questioning Ubah’s relationship.
“Come on, loosen up, have a bit of fun,” Sai says. Jessel then goes to collect Ubah from inside.
“That was really f*cking weird,” Erin says, and most of the group agrees. Jenna doesn’t know why Ubah’s worried. “If anyone has a grievance, it should be Abe.” Exactly. This weird vibe around Abe and Ubah has been ongoing since Erin showed off his nudes.
Brynn questions whether Erin will actually confront Ubah, because she feels she’s the only one to do it. She does have a point, as shown through flashbacks.
The tension continues as the swimming lessons begin
Now back with the group, Ubah is ready for her synchronized swimming lesson with Jenna MF Lyons. As everybody gets together, there’s a small moment of peace. But that, of course, never lasts in the Real Housewives world.
“Are you okay?” Ubah asks Erin in the pool. “I didn’t like what you did back there,” Erin replies. Then Ubah explodes, because of course she does.
“I don’t give a f*ck, don’t do it in front of me,” she hits back. “I am talking to you quietly,” Erin says, trying to bring the volume down, but it’s too late. Ubah Hot is activated.
“Every minute you find something to be mad at. What the f*ck? What’s wrong with her? What a sensitive f*cking bitch,” she says to the group, before splashing Erin who exits the pool stage left.
“I’m not allowed to express what I feel with her, but yet she’s allowed to call me a gaslighter, and call me this, that, and the other. It’s not okay,” Erin says in confessional. As Erin walks away, Ubah continues to rant in the pool. The rest of the group goes to the hot tub, as Ubah does some laps before joining them.
“Thank you, Ubah, for trying to have fun,” Brynn pokes. “I’m more fun than you could ever expect,” comes Ubah’s reply, and then Brynn brings the conversation back to Ubah “yelling about Abe.”
Erin is mad because she thinks Ubah assumed she was doing something bad to her husband. “You should actually think I’m a good friend for me to do that,” Ubah says. “Don’t come at people’s marriages,” Brynn advises. And now, Ubah’s attention shifts.
It’s Ubah versus Brynn, Round 100
“Brynn, we’re not speaking to you, go and take a nap,” Ubah says. “Should I suck a d*ck while I take a nap?” Brynn asks her, referring to how Ubah suggested Brynn slept with someone to get on the show.
“That might help you to shut up,” Ubah laughs. “I said maybe you did that to get this job, because I didn’t. Because I’m enough, Ubah is enough … you are [being fake].”
“How am I fake? I would love to know,” Brynn says. Ubah then gets up to explain. “You are not who you … say you are. You are fun Brynn, you are sweet to everybody. Nobody knows how they are with you.”
Brynn then makes a jab about flying private, while Ubah’s flying commercial.
“With who? Someone else’s husband?” Ubah swipes back. Brynn then questions just how successful Ubah is as a model, who replies that Brynn should Google her name.
“What is this about your name all the time?” Brynn laughs. “You’re not Naomi [Campbell].”
“Naomi wish[es],” Ubah claims. “Go f*ck yourself. You piece of sh*t. Get the f*ck out of here.”
And, scene. Or so you might think. The stormy night has only just begun.
“You ran away quite quickly. Thanks for helping me,” Brynn tells Erin. “I walked away to defuse,” says Erin, trying to defend herself. But Brynn has a point here. She shouldn’t be the only one who can stand on her own two feet in a dispute against Ubah; especially when the conflict isn’t entirely about her.
Erin says she has Brynn’s back when it matters, but here, things got “toxic on both ends.” Still, Erin feels bad and thinks Ubah should apologize. Good luck getting that…
Sai confronts Erin about her conversation regarding Jessel’s marriage
Sai feels that Erin hasn’t owned up to her part in their chat with Brynn about Jessel’s marriage. “We can talk about it as a group,” Sai says, and Erin feels she’s being piled on.
“Thanks for lying Jessel, as usual,” says Erin. “I defended you. By the way, I’m never doing it again … watch the f*cking video and you’ll realize you have no friends.”
Erin then goes to chat to Ubah, who’s got no clothes on. “I’m naked, I don’t want to talk.”
“Stop f*cking telling Brynn that she’s a whore – it’s really hurting her feelings and it’s not okay,” Erin shouts through the bathroom. “Stop talking to her like she’s trash, she’s not f*cking trash.”
Cut to the slammed doors, and Jenna realizing exactly what’s happened. “We’ve gone off the deep end.”
Quite right – and next week, we have the season finale. It’s going to be a mess. Enjoy!
The Real Housewives of New York continues Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
