When Danielle Cabral joined the Real Housewives of New Jersey in Season 13, a lot changed. We had our first housewife who was born and raised outside the Garden State. Danielle was young and breathed new life into the aging franchise. However, not everyone liked her spirited ways. After her altercation with Jennifer Aydin, the newbie realized who her real friends were. Now she seems to be embracing her inner Melissa Gorga, and fans are loving it.
Danielle Cabral made me do a double-take
They say imitation is the highest form of flattery. And recently, Danielle flattered the hell out of Melissa. The mother of two channeled the Envy owner down to her tinted tan. It seems Danielle has changed up her look, thanks to a new hair color and some extensions. The 39-year-old posted an ad for her light brown LUXE Extensions. She also sported a letterman jacket with a black tank to top off her edgy high school look. In her caption, Danielle wrote, “Gritty & Glam.” Danielle died her blonde hair directly after Season 14. After going brunette, she has been compared to Eva Longoria and Drea de Matteo.
Many feel that Danielle should never go back to being a blonde as the darker hair suits her so well. A few of her co-stars flocked to her comments to tell her how great she looked, including Dolores Catania. RHONJ husband Nate Cabral added, “God Daaaayyyuuummmm.” But most of the comments were from confused fans, as they questioned if Missy G had taken over D’s social media platform. One fan wrote, “Ok they’ve been hanging out too much; they begin to look alike. I swore this was Melissa.” Another added, “If Dolores and Melissa had a baby together, this is what it would look like!”

All I am really learning here is that makeup is a form of witchcraft. After initially changing her hair, Danielle started to give off Soprano vibes. And she kept rolling with the look, especially after Melissa said, “Carmelaaaaaa.” It seems that once Danielle was given the stamp of approval by the fan favorite, she didn’t want to lose the title. When Danielle first walked onto the Bravo scene, she was eccentric with her fashion choices. Her taste was loud and consisted of a lot of animal print. But she has slowly started to morph into a better-dressed version of herself. It makes sense that people would mistake her for Melissa.
Melissa has always been a well-dressed Real Housewives of New Jersey star. Even though Melissa first walked onto the scene in her best 2000s business/going-out attire, she has really stepped up her game in the years since. Nowadays, Melissa is all about her sexy yet chic ensembles. She is the billboard for her store, Envy, which honestly is a bit of heaven in Ridgewood, NJ. Melissa knows what looks good on her and shows off her legs to prove it. It’s obvious now that Danielle has picked up a few tips.
I love it when RHONJ stars help each other
It’s cute that Danielle looks up to Melissa almost as a big sister. Now that Danielle is no longer friends with Teresa Giudice, there is room to bond with Melissa. The 41-year-old has helped Danielle jump-start her business. Melissa didn’t hold back when it came to giving the newest Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member some sound business advice. During Season 13, Danielle commended her friend for all her hard work.
She noted, “Melissa, she’s actually living the life that I would love to live with business. I love to do pop-ups because I’m online, and when you have an e-commerce site, it’s so hard to sell merchandise through a picture.” Melissa was so involved with her protege that she even invited Danielle to her fashion week show to let her watch how a professional does it. Danielle’s reason for channeling her inner Missy G is so she can be just as successful as her co-star. And who wouldn’t want that!?
