Filmcore and Noxluna in association with EAG enterprises are thrilled to announce that SATURDAY BITE FEVER has moved into production following the amazing response to holiday slasher SILENT BITE.
SATURDAY BITE FEVER sees a group of young women facing off against mobsters and vampires trying to lay siege to a nightclub on New Years Eve Disco.
The production has the same core cast ensemble and creative team re-visiting the ever expanding Bite-universe but should be considered more of an Anthology rather than a direct sequel to allow for greater creative freedom. Think Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Worlds End style universe that Edgar Wright delivered.
Returning Director Taylor Martin stated “Silent Bite was only the beginning for us in the realm of vampire holiday horror. It was so much fun we’re coming back for more. Saturday Bite Fever has us back in the holiday spirit as we’re going bigger, badder, and bloodier! We’re looking forward to having a blast with our talented core ensemble returning aswell as some new faces that we are excited to introduce to the Bite universe we’re building”
Simon Phillips (FUBAR, The Witcher), Paul Whitney (Blood and Snow), Michael Swatton (Butchers), Sienna Star (Silent Bite), Dan Molson (What Lurks Beneath), Louisa Capulet (Butchers 3) are among the cast expected to return to the Bite world.
The film will be produced by Mem Ferda and executive produced by Simon Phillips, Ern Gerardo, Paul Whitney and shot by Tim Davies with a script penned by Simon Phillips.
The SILENT BITE Film recently picked up BEST FEATURE FILM at the Sick Chicks Film Film Festival Awards.
SATURDAY BITE FEVER is expected to commence principal photography in Buffalo, New York.
