The Kill Room director Nicol Paone spoke about working with both Uma Thurman and Maya Hawke on the recent movie.

In an interview with ComingSoon, Paone was asked about working with both Thurman and Hawke. The director noted that the mother/daughter duo worked together “brilliantly,” even sharing some of the same physical mannerisms.

“I want more from them. I thought they worked together brilliantly,” Paone stated. “A couple of times, they were both holding their hands in the same way at the same time, which was really funny to me. They’re both uniquely themselves, yet it’s obvious they’re mother and daughter, because they’re both very intelligent, and the way they approach their characters is very similar. I can’t wait to watch and see what Maya does.”

Who Stars in The Kill Room?

The Kill Room was directed by Paone from a script written by Jonathan Jacobson. Joining Thurman and Jackson are Joe Manganiello, Maya Hawke, Debi Mazar, Marianne Rendón, Mike Doyle, Dree Hemingway, Amy Keum, Candy Buckley, Larry Pine, Jennifer Kim, Matthew Maher, Tom Pecinka, Alexander Sokovikov, and more.

The film was produced by Thurman, Jordan Yale Levine, Jordan Beckerman, Jon Keeyes, Anne Clements, Paone, Dannielle Thomas, Jason Weinberg, Bill Kenwright, and William Rosenfeld.
