During the Showcase Showdown, three contestants who have played their way to the stage compete to advance to the finale. Contestants spin the “Big Wheel” and whoever comes closest to the to the $1.00 space without going over advances. However, there are cash bonuses available for contestants spinning the wheel. Landing on the $1.00 space can net players some serious cash.
A contestant on December 6th left fans baffled by pulling off not just one, but two perfect Big Wheel spins during the Showcase Showdown, landing on the $1.00 space twice! Making himself $25,000 in the process. In the Instagram post by The Price Is Right contestant Victor spins the “Big Wheel” joined by host Drew Carey. Victor gives a shout-out to his family and friends while the wheel is spinning. The wheel slowly lands on the exact $1.00 spot and the audience goes crazy. The fun didn’t end there though!
The Price Is Right Contestant Beats The Odds
The Price Is Right Contestant Victor was ecstatic when he landed on the cash prize spot on the “Big Wheel” during the Showcase Showdown. However, the fun wasn’t over yet! Host Drew Carey informed Victor that he bought himself an “extra spin on the wheel, just for the heck of it.” Drew continued to tell Victor “If you hit the dollar again, $25,000.” Victor spun the “Big Wheel” for a second time.
The wheel made two full rotations and unbelievably landed on the exact $1.00 spot for a second time! Winning Victora whopping $25,000! Victor went crazy. He ran back and forth across the set as the crowd erupted and gave him a standing ovation. Host Drew Carey told Victor “Nice job! Look at that!” The Price Is Right captioned the Instagram post “What are the odds?” One fan did the math and commented that Victor had a “1 in 400 chance” to hit big on the “Big Wheel” and win the $25,000 prize!
