Welcome back to the latest recap for The Valley. It’s the finale, and time to wrap up this messy season. Last time, Luke’s comment during couples counseling shocked Kristen. And Kristen let it slip that Nia guilt-trips Zack. Here’s what happened in The Valley Season 3 Episode 18: “The Valley of the Damned.”
What happened in The Valley Season 3 Episode 18?
Janet called Zack out for talking behind her back. And Jesse made a shocking allegation about Michelle. Plus, someone tossed a plastic cup at a guest during Brittany’s Halloween party.
Nia opens up about her past in The Valley
After their showdown in Mexico, Lala and Nia met to try and resolve their issues. Nia revealed that her childhood was chaotic. Her father was married and divorced twice, and infidelity was also part of the equation. “Me and my mom, we were in shelters, and we were bouncing around to different people’s homes,” Nia explained. “I was raised by my dad.”
For a future partner, Nia “wanted to choose someone that felt stable and that gave me so much love. So, I feel like I have that with Daniel.” While their relationship seemed to be in a better place, Lala wasn’t holding out hope for a close friendship with the mom of four.
Elsewhere, Kristen and Luke discussed their therapy situation. “I could tell you weren’t super-vibey with her,” Kristen said, referring to their therapist. “Not at all,” Luke said. Cue the flashback of Luke hinting that he wouldn’t have proposed if Plus, Luke complained because the therapist asked him questions about his feelings. GASP!
“I feel like I don’t know why you’d want me to get pregnant again if you hate my pregnant self,” Kristen said. “Get it out of the way so we can be done with that … so we can put the pregnant Kristen to rest. Lock her up in a coffin,” Luke responded. How … gross.
“I’m fighting for us … for us to still have this future we talked about beforehand,” Luke said in his talking head. “And I don’t know if we’re painting the same picture anymore.” In her confessional, Kristen admitted, “I don’t know what to do with this information, and I just feel numb. And I pray and hope that we’re gonna get to a better place.”
Scary vibes at Brittany’s party in The Valley
Finally, it was time for Brittany’s Victorian Vampire Masquerade Halloween party. Brittany went all out, and the house looked hauntingly spectacular.
At the party, Janet, Michelle, and Lala gathered together. Naturally, Lala spilled the beans about Zack talking behind Janet’s back. “He’s acting like we’re moving forward,” Janet said. Then, Lala revealed that Kristen said that Nia guilt-tripped Zack.
As if on cue, Zack and Brittany entered the room. Janet mentioned how she thought they were moving forward, but Kristen’s comments at Brittany’s photo shoot indicated otherwise. “Sounds like Kristen’s throwing you under the bus to try to make you and I not friends,” Janet said. Zack wanted to bring Kristen into the discussion, but instead, Jesse strolled in. Once again, Janet walked away.
“Like, Zack just needs to own his sh*t. But the thing is, Zack secretly likes me,” Janet said in her confessional. “And he’s just like struggling with that because Nia and Kristen won’t allow him to like me.”
Does Michelle have a secret boyfriend in The Valley?
Next, Jesse confronted Michelle. “So, it’s come to my attention that for the last three months, you’ve actually been secretly dating a comedian,” he said. “He’s my client,” Michelle replied, referring to Max Amini. In the previous episode, she shared that she had an upcoming first date with the comedian.
Next, Jesse claimed that Michelle asked him to take care of Isabella while she journeyed to Las Vegas “for work.” He stated that he was sent photos of the duo in bathing suits. Then, Jesse remarked, “I’ve also been told that you’ve introduced him to Isabella.”
“Don’t do this,” Michelle replied. “You’re lying right now.” In her talking head, Michelle said, “The reality is, I was showing houses, and she met him.”
However, Jesse wasn’t done scolding Michelle. “You moved our daughter into a guy’s house who then left you. Now you’re introducing Isabella to another guy.”
After Michelle walked away, Jasmine tried to support her friend. Jesse claimed that Michelle had been secretly dating Max and that Isabella told him that “she has met this guy.”
“I watched my daughter f*cking cry about Aaron [Nosler], and I’m f*cking pissed,” Jesse told Jasmine. “If another guy comes in my life, there’s gonna be big problems. Big f*cking custody problems,” he added.
In the kitchen, Nia asked Danny if he was “drunk,” and he denied it. Then, Jason, on crutches, came up behind a woman, whom he thought was Janet. Spoiler alert: it was not his wife. “Oh, sorry! I thought you were my wife. Oh, my God!” he exclaimed. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to be creepy.” The woman laughed it off. However, Zack commented, “That sounds like you made a mistake.”
Zack picks a side in The Valley
Next, Jasmine approached Michelle about secretly dating Max. When Michelle denied it, Jasmine said, “Don’t get mad at me. I’m just repeating what I heard, baby girl.” Michelle explained that she showed a building while Isabella was with her, as Jesse has done in the past. “You’re hearing just Jesse’s side,” Janet remarked.
“I heard him out ’cause he was crying to me. He’s very emotional about …,” Jasmine began. “So what does it matter?” Michelle’s friend, Natalie, interjected. When Jasmine advised Natalie to “calm down,” Michelle responded that Natalie was defending her. “I have Jesse’s back right now because he feels a type of way,” Jasmine replied.
The squabble between Jasmine and Natalie escalated, and Jasmine called her “a b*tch.” Natalie replied, “You’re trash,” as Michelle stepped between them.
Later, Nia pulled Zack aside to chat about … who else? Janet! According to Lala, Kristen claimed that Nia was “manipulating” Zack. “If anybody manipulates anybody, it’s me to you,” Zack said, and Nia agreed. Kristen approached and downplayed her guilt trip comment.
Then, Brittany arrived. “It wasn’t said that you manipulate Zack. It was that you were the one that makes Zack feel bad for being friends with Janet,” Brittany began. Naturally, Kristen denied that part of the conversation, which was filmed.
“Brittany, I believe her,” Zack said of Kristen. “You believe her over me and Lala together?” Brittany asked. “Yes,” he replied, shocking Brittany.
“Me and Zack have been best friends for over 18 years,” Brittany said in her confessional. “And you’re going to immediately believe Kristen and Nia over me?”
Lala enters the fray in The Valley
Once Lala turned up, our Kentucky muffin tried to set the record straight. “So, you said it’s Nia that guilt trips Zack,” Lala began. “No, she said it,” Kristen said, pointing at Brittany. “I have never in my life said Nia guilt trips Zack.”
In her confessional, Kristen tried to explain herself. “Did I say Nia manipulates Zack? Yes,” she said. Kristen added that Nia sort of teased Zack and it’s not “actual manipulation.”
Meanwhile, Danny was crashing on a couch in the pool house. Jason approached because he needed a place to rest his leg. Jason brought up the “mean sh*t” that Danny said to Lala during the trip to Mexico. Of course, Janet went over, with Lala for backup. At first, Danny denied making the dig about Lala not having a husband.
When Janet suggested that he apologize, he fired back, “I can never listen and talk to you when you have never apologized about anything you’ve ever done in your life.” Janet asked, “You think that the words I said about you were untrue?”
“A hundred percent,” Danny said. “You’ve made no life changes. It’s gonna happen again,” Jason said. When Danny asked if Jason ever “blacked out,” Janet responded, “He’s never grabbed women’s asses.” Danny responded, “He doesn’t know.” Oof.
Danny got drenched in The Valley
Lala advised her friend “to let it go. He’s not your problem.” Finally, after some prompting from Lala, Danny apologized for “saying you should go back to your husband.”
Janet chimed in, “That’s it?” And Danny pointed his finger at Janet. “Danny, put your finger away,” Jason said. “What are you going to do with your bum leg?” Danny replied.
“I will still beat your ass,” Jason stated as Janet hurled a cup of alcohol at Danny. The plastic cup hit him in the face. As Danny stormed away, Lala said, “I don’t love that you just did that.”
Janet responded, “I don’t care.” Then Danny walked up to Nia and Zack. “They just threw drinks in my face,” he announced.
Nia rallied Kristen and Jasmine, saying that her husband was soaked in alcohol, courtesy of Janet. Kristen suggested that Janet leave. “Go get Brittany and tell her she should make me leave,” Janet said.
Meanwhile, Nia said to Danny, “We need to leave. Why would we be around terrible humans?” So, they decided to depart.
In his confessional, Zack ranted about Janet. “Let’s put it this way. If Janet wasn’t here, this would be an entirely different dynamic,” he said.
Meanwhile, Janet shared in her talking head that she “could see being cordial with Kristen and Zack eventually if they stop drinking the Kool-Aid. The people that we’re not friends with, I’m good with that.”
