Al Roker and Deborah Roberts have shared a number of stories over the years, including anecdotes from their lives together. Recently, the two shared a night out with fans. However, the event soon proved to be a star-studded one. In fact, in more than one way, it was a night for the stars.

Roberts and Roker are both prominent television journalists. The two have been married since 1995, after meeting at NBC. They share two children together, in addition to a daughter from Roker’s previous marriage.
Roker is a prominent weather anchor known for his work with Today. Roberts is known for her work with ABC News, particularly 20/20.
Over the years, fans have followed the couple as they shared various romantic moments from their lives together. In a recent share on social media, Roberts revealed that she and her husband had a special date night. As she shared, “It was an out of this world night at the new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.”
Roberts continued, “This fabulous space, filled with artistic treasures is simply heart stopping. Thank you @mellodyhobson and George Lucas for your genius, generosity and gift to the world. And a heck of a party! The birthday weekend of a lifetime.”
Roker Also Shared A Video From The Event On His Own Social Media Account
The carousel post shared that the couple spent the evening with a number of stars, in addition to Lucas and his wife. This included Harrison Ford, Queen Latifah, Oprah Winfrey, Samuel L. Jackson, Gayle King, and Jon Batiste.
Enjoying all the sights of the museum, the post included all sorts of exhibits, including a Norman Rockwell statue. Roker got to pose with a number of life-sized Star Wars figures as well as some of the franchise’s stars.
Roker also shared a video of the event on his own social media. As he shared, “The Met. The Louvre. The Prado. And now, the @lucasmuseum. To be able to say we were the opening of the next great art museum, dedicated to storytelling through imagery is such an honor. And there is so much more than @starwars here.”
Roker continued, “From cave paintings, to graphic novels, manga and Norman Rockwell, the history of visual narrative is here. Do not miss it. Thank you, George Lucas and @mellodyhobson, for this gift to the world.”
