Pat Sajak joined Wheel of Fortune as host of the daytime version of the game show in 1981. Eventually, he took over the primetime show as well. He served as host for 41 seasons before his final show in 2024. Since his retirement, he’s been spending time with his family and enjoying his golden years.
Ryan Seacrest took over the role but has had some bumps along the way. After a lot of speculation, Vanna White decided to stay on Wheel of Fortune after Pat Sajak’s retirement.
Pat Sajak Accepts Challenge
Pat Sajak spent decades stumping Wheel of Fortune contestants. Now, it’s his turn in the hot seat. Is he up for the challenge? His daughter, Maggie Sajak, posted a video on TikTok of the former game show host participating in a viral channel.
She got her dad to do the viral game “Say the Word to the Beat.” The silly game gets you to say words in time to a quick soundtrack. All you have to do is say it out loud, but it’s tougher than it sounds.
Participants shout out images of animals or whatever pops up on the screen. Maggie Sajak captioned the funny video, “Pat takes on another trend. Let’s see how mr. word game does with this new challenge…and where did that raccoon come from?!”
The former talk show host was definitely up for the challenge. Pat Sajak, 79, did well until an image of a raccoon tripped him up. He made it through several rounds in the viral game that has taken over TikTok.
