Dancing With the Stars winner Robert Irwin has a new girlfriend, but his family is in panic mode as it appears he is rushing along. Robert Has Finally Found Happiness
During and after his stint on DWTS, it was rumored that Robert Irwin was being considered to be The Bachelor. Women loved him and felt that he was such a genuine guy that he deserved to find love. He was barely three when his father, Steve Irwin, tragically died. Therefore, it was his time to shine, which he did on the reality dancing competition show. Robert had his mother, Terri, and his sister, Bindi, by his side, but he was becoming a desired young man. Then, it was revealed that he had met someone, a woman named Ashleigh Scully.
Although his mother and sister seem to really like her, they are a tad nervous. It seems that he is all in with the new relationship, and that has them worried that he is rushing. An insider shared this insight regarding Terri and Bindi’s fears:
“It’s not that they’re questioning Ashleigh herself. In fact, they think she seems lovely and can completely understand why he’s so taken with her. Their concern is more that he’s already racing ahead and making all sorts of plans when the relationship is still very new.”
Essentially, they would like Robert to slow down and enjoy his new romance. However, he is 22 and will do whatever he wants to. Moreover, the two have known each other for quite some time. Yet, this just turned romantic earlier in the year. Allegedly, Robert Irwin has been single for two years, so he may be a touch overexcited. Who can blame him? He is young and having a good time.
Just Relax
Terri and Bindi Irwin do not want to scare Robert Irwin in any capacity. They just feel he needs to take a step back, which is understandable. The three are very close and have been for years. Therefore, they do not want him rushing or getting hurt. Fans and followers believe that his family, if they really are so concerned, needs to let him learn on his own:
- Well, if any family should understand that life is too short… It would be them! He will be fine if he married her today or in 10 years… Or he won’t
- He is 22 years old. He is an adult in EVERY country in the world. Can you say helicopter mom and sis should mind their own business.
- Didn’t Bindi’s move just as quickly. I love the whole family as they are and what each of them will become.
